I bought this because I love the facial products I bought. They were unbelievable! So of course I thought this would be the same. It's nothing special.

This is quite an effective balm that can be a bit finicky to use and store. It is already quite warm where I live so I did not experience any of the difficulty getting the product out of the tube that some reviewers mentions. The ingredients will solidify in cold temperatures, and turn liquid in very warm temperatures. So, while on a cold day, it might take a lot of effort to squeeze out just the smallest amount in a squiggly little line, on a hot day, too much of the product might ooze out with just the slightest squeeze, with the potential for making a bit mess. I imagine that is why the opening to the tube is so small. My tube lives in the refrigerator and I just take it out a few minutes before I want to use it. I find this too rich to use as a body oil, but I do like to use it for my dry hands, elbows, heels and my lower legs. Just a tiny amount -- a drop about 2 mm in diameter is enough to rub into both of my elbows, leaving them soft and smooth. They were in horrible condition just a few weeks ago and I've used lots of different products to help -- this one worked the best. My hands feel very soft and supple, too. My hands and elbows do not feel greasy after applying but that is because I use very little and massage it in thoroughly. I apply it several times a day. I use a bit more on my lower legs to help with severely dry and damaged skin and it does take a long time to sink in even after trying to massage it in so I only use it at night in that area. It helping a lot, though so it is worth the hassle to me. The only real downside to this product is the price, which at $47.00 for only four ounces, seems very high and I'm not sure I can justify the cost. I do like being able to squeeze just the amount I need from a tube rather than scooping from a jar

The 1st thing I noticed is the teeny opening to squeeze out the “balm”. It comes out like a string & takes a lot of squeezing!Then I realized it’s probably so you don’t squeeze out too much at a time which makes sense, especially at this (high) price point.Once you have a decent amount, you warm it in your hands where it becomes an oil & apply it to your skin.You can also squeeze it directly onto your skin & rub where it does the oil transformation thing. My very dry, 60 year old skin soaked this up easily.I didn’t notice a scent at all - none.This is oily enough that I would never use it after a morning shower - I love a night shower, so it’s great for that & then wear some soft pj’s unless you plan on washing your sheets!I don’t like this enough to order again, mainly due to the price. Even though the ingredients are what sets this apart, apparently, the first oil ingredients listed are safflower oil, shea butter, sunflower oil, & coconut oil which are pretty common. This is basically an oil. And it does not seem to soak in well at all. I used it on my hands and I had to wash them, after wiping them with a dry paper towel.My hands still felt "soft" after washing. So maybe if you put it on BEFORE you shower and use it as an all over skin mask for a few minutes, it could have some benefit?The small is nice--just smells like natural honey. It comes out of the tube like a cream, so at least it doesn't run all over the place like a true oil. Body heat quickly melts it into the oil--but you won't have to worry about dripping.Not for me though. I can't stand being all oily like that--I don't sit around naked and woudon't want to put clothes on after using this--not for at least an hour. And I need to use my hands too much. I may use it has a "hand masque", where I put it on and then put plastic gloves on for 15 minutes or wo--then wash it off.
