Durable, Vibrant, and Perfect for Young Players!
The Mitre Impel Football is a fantastic choice for kids and casual players alike. The soft yet durable coating provides a great feel for play while holding up impressively over time. It’s easy to inflate, and it has stayed perfectly inflated since we started using it in the summer – no constant topping up required! The design is another highlight. The vibrant yellow base, paired with the peach-toned accents, is eye-catching and practical. It’s easy to spot, even when my nephew tried to show off his kicking skills, and the ball ended up in the lake (it took me nearly two hours to retrieve it – on only the second day we had it!).This ball is the perfect size for my 8-year-old, with a lightweight feel that’s great for young players. For the price, it’s an absolute bargain, especially when compared to some overpriced brands that don’t have Mitre’s expertise in footballs. Highly recommended!

Great football for the price
Really like the football. It’s just the right firmness for practising on the back garden with the kids.Pumps up great. Bounces well. Size is great for my 7 year old.

Quality Ball
I brought the size 2 ball to better my control and it’s working well. If you can do 10 kick ups with this sized ball then doing it with a normal size 5 is a piece of cake. The ball comes deflated but you can buy a pump for pretty cheap (less than a fiver) from alot of places. Can also get it pumped up at goals or power league if you go there. This specific ball has a bit more cushioning compared to others I’ve brought so probably better for kids and if you’re using it in the house without shoes (that’s what I do most of the time)I got it on offer and would probably buy it again if it goes to the same price.

Great for my dog to chase
I use these balls for my dog.. He loves chasing footballs. Good for kicking a distance and keeps him fit. Had 3 so far, cheap, chearful.Leather is quite soft, so I suppose as long as kids/adults don't chew the balls then it should be fine.. Overall quality is good though.

It is what it is
The Impel range are Mitre's lowest standard of foobball. That's not to say that they are terrible by any means, but there is a noticeable drop in quality in comparison to their Ultramatch and Delta range which makes sense considering the price difference. The mechanical stitching of the leather is the first thing that stands out. These balls aren't designed to last very long before beginning to peel. 2-3 months of regular use will see them fall apart. The ball is on the lighter/hollower side compared to something like the Delta. This can make the ball a bit harder to control and can also affect power and accuracy due to weaker wind resistance.Although the ball is round enough to roll fine on dry, trimmed surfaces. It isn't perfectly round and may be prone to getting caught up on tougher or wet surfaces. All and all, it's a cheap ball that's good enough for a kick around with mates and is perfectly serviceable for training sessions at an amateur team level. For more serious level training, you should be looking at the Delta range of balls which are put together better in every way using superior materials. Be prepared to pay considerably more however.
