LeeIbox 3D Glasses VR Fold portable folding Virtual Reality Headset --- Black

I have been avoiding the whole VR cardboard this, and headset that, for some time now, but I finally dipped my toes into the pool of VR. I am actually very surprised on how far it has come along, and how simplified it has become.The market is littered with a ton of different types, shapes and sizes to choose from so at this point it is up to the buyers preferences on what to get.I chose the fold up version just to see what all the fuss was about. They are definitely compact and easy to store in a pocket or small case. They are extremely easy to set up, just clip them.on your phone, adjust them to the size of the display and start an app with a vr video. That's it.There are a ton of VR games, videos, city scapes, and even roller coaster rides that are all in VR. It's actually kind of addictive, once you watch one you want to watch more and more. I found myself browsing for well over an hour looking for more VR goodies to watch.If you are curious about VR this is a cheap, quick and easy way to experience it. I highly recommend it if you haven't tried it yet.I have already started to look for a bigger fancier headset to play with, but this one will always be my quick and easy go to.Product received for testing and unbiased review.

These glasses are by no means perfect, but they DO fill a longstanding need of mine.. In Spades.. Let me explain.I have been creating VR content for almost a year now.. mostly 360 video. I have been out preaching the VR gospel everywhere I go for the past year.TO do this effectively, you just have to SHOW people. I can talk till I'm blue in the face, but once they SEE it, they are Instant believers.This has been an awkward journey because I used to have t carry around a cpl google Cardboard viewers in my car and ultimately a Gear VR. These Items are great, but at the time of this review these Items are still socially awkward, making me look like a complete idiot carrying these bulky viewers into a restaurant or other social environment so I can continue preaching my VR gospel.These pretty much solve that problem by allowing me to store my "DEMO" viewer in my pocket along with my phone keeping things mostly copacetic until the discussion moves to Virtual Reality.. Then I can just "Whip-em out" and start the magic show.. My girlfriend loves the fact that I don't have to wear my "geekdom" on my sleeve anymore by dragging bulky headsets with me wherever I go, as this gadget allows me to roam "incogneeto" :-)for a sub $10.00 viewer the optics are as good as many 40+ dollar units... Not in GearVR territory, but amazing for what it replaces.Those optics make the viewing experience actually better than a standard cardboard viewer, plus the ability to move and focus the lenses puts it up there with the 40 dollar units.This unit ships with a lens cleaning cloth but otherwise no protection, which when put in your pocket (where it should always reside) would render the glass useless by end of day. I used one of my Sunglass holder bags, the type MADE out of lens cleaning microfiber to solve this issue. A custom case would add bulk, defeating the purpose of this product, but a carry-bag would have given it the final star. No problem though, as once the get too scratched up in my pocket, I'll just get another pair, as they are priced right in line with a descent Cardboard viewer, just these don't fall apart when they get wet. I guess I better get another pair before they read this review and jack-up the price ;-)

May require some adjusting, but they work! Not on the scale of the Oculus or HTC VIVE, but gives someone who has never experienced VR the convenience to do so without paying hundreds of dollars.
