LINE+ARC Silicone Coasters feat. in NYT WireCutter (Joshua Tree, Set of 6)

these are fantastic coasters. silicone so do not slip and do not leave any marks on surfaces. i love that they have the grooves in them to collect liquid/condensation from cups and glasses. my cup/glass does not stick to it like it sometimes does with other coasters. they are also easy to clean and are very good looking! I have bought them as housewarming gifts multiple times and also have several of my own sets. if only my kids would use them!

For the past few days, these coasters have been living on my wood furniture, and honestly, they look like they were invited. The texture is great, the design looks amazing against wood, and—small miracle—they actually stay put instead of skating across the table. Cleanup is easy too, so they aren’t demanding little pieces of décor. They matched the listing completely, I have no complaints, and my furniture now looks slightly more put together than I do. Five stars.

These coasters are great for the money, they do absorb stuff but the moisture does stay for a little bit within the grooves but it is super easy to clean. I found the soft gradient to be relaxing and it doesn't slip at all. Also, if you or anyone in your household has a noise sensitivity or fidgets to calm down, these work wonders. Since they don't have the cork on the bottom they aren't "hard" and they are fairly rubbery which allows them to absorb sound much better which means that putting a drink on it doesn't make a loud clank sound, also when stacking the coasters I found that the material allows for it to be used as a fidget if someone needs it to comfort them during loud or stressful situtations. Amazing coasters tbh, this is my first coasters I have bought and I plan to put more around my house.

These coasters cost more than most, but they do keep your tabletop dry. They don't absorb the water it just pools to the center of the well-designed coaster. My only issue is that when I pick my glass of iced tea up, water drips onto my lap/floor or whatever it hits first. Occasionally I dump the pool of water off the coaster to fix this issue. So far it has not ever leaked onto the table so that is remarkable and what a coaster is supposed to do. This coaster stays put on the table when you pick up your glass which is often a problem with other coasters. It is easy to clean and still looks new after daily use.

3 month update: No stains! These coasters are so easy to clean, dry, and reuse. Ceramic, cork, and fabric coasters absorb liquid and can leave faint stains (see my stain test with coffee, orange juice, turmeric, and sriracha). The Degre coasters from Line and Arc arrived ahead of schedule and were beautifully packaged. After laying them out, I saw the full color range within the set more clearly and the shades are wonderful. The colors perfectly complement our wooden dining table giving it modern but earthy vibe. The coasters have a great feel to them. Very well made - the silicone is tough, durable, and feels rugged (not flimsy/flexible). They also have a soft surface texture so they won't leave any marks/scratches on our dining table (unlike stone/ceramic coasters). I like the weight as well - not too heavy while providing enough stability. The ridges add great visual appeal but also help trap condensation and the slightly concave shape ensures liquid will not drip/spill off the coaster. As a bonus, we're able to use 3-6 together as a mini trivet for hot pots/pans as well!

These are great at collecting condensation, and they go in the dishwasher.... Love them

I love how sturdy these are and the grips hold cups well to prevent spills. Condensation does pool on the bottom sometimes, but I still really like these. They do stain fairly easily.

I was looking for a coaster that wouldn’t scratch a glass tabletop and I stumbled across these! If you’re looking for something stylish, safe to use, and easy to clean you can’t go wrong with these coasters. The design is perfection with a natural dip in the center to create a slope and collect any condensation. Cleaning is as simple as running them under hot water and drying with a towel. They have decent weight and the texture with its matte finish is heavenly. If I had to give a flaw I would say they are a bit small.. some of my cups hang off the sides.. But these are basically perfect! I’m super happy with my selection and the glass table is grateful for the switch to silicone!

The coasters look and feel great. They work well overall but the angled edges can make it slightly unstable if the glass isn't placed directly into the middle of the coaster.

Unfortunately there is a fundamental design flaw. If you don’t place your cup carefully, the cup can fall over. It’s just not practical. I don’t understand the five star ratings.
