I am plagued with eczema on my face every winter The only thing that usually gets rid of it is the steroid cream from the doctors but as soon as I stop using it the red, dry, flaky patches return.This winter I have had three eczema patches on my face and also on both eyelids. I saw this balm advertised and how it can help people with eczema and so decided to give it a go.Once it arrived I stopped using the steroid cream, instead applying the balm. Within two days my eczema had disappeared completely. I use the balm morning and night and sometimes during the day as well. I love the gentle, natural smell and unlike some reviewers that have complained about its solid consistency (it is a balm after all, not a cream) I actually like it and find it quite meditative to apply slowly and frequently.All in all it is a great product that does what it says on the jar along with being natural and vegan.Well done guys for producing this and helping people like me!Happy, smiley, eczema free customer :)

I bought this product to tackle cracked sore skin between my fingers (eczema/contact dermatitis) My hands were extremely dry and moisturisers simply weren’t helping. Over the years I have tried many balms/creams/ointments when having a flare, so I was sceptical at best. The product is a waxy in consistency when in the tub, but once on the skin turns oily very quickly. I must stress this does not mean your hands are suddenly very greasy. It appears to sink into the skin relatively quickly. It absolutely kick started the healing process of my skin. What I wasn’t expecting was for it to also provide protection against ongoing dryness of the hands. Within only a couple of days of using it I could see that my skin was healing. I don’t normally review products but now I wish I’d taken a before and after shot of how much my skin had improved in just a couple of days. The product has a gentle scent which to be honest I’d find difficult to describe, but it is not unpleasant. I would 100% purchase this again once it runs out. Very happy!

Rich, soothing, effective.

I was looking for a thick balm as I suffer badly with eczema on my hands.I read this was all natural and lovely and thick which is correct. It’s a solid ointment with a smell that isn’t the nicest but not offensive…as you would expect from a fragrance free product. It melted quickly into an greasy liquid which coated my hands well which is what I was after so I could put cotton gloves over the top and fully give my hands a moisture fix…However I reacted to something in this and my hands went very itchy and hives began to arrive:(I am extremely sensitive to many things, including some natural ingredients. (I’m allergic to linalool amongst other things which naturally occurring in many things including some essential oils)If you’re after a thick greasy fix in a small glass jar for your dry itchy hands I’d imagine this is fab if you don’t have highly sensitive skin…Think I’ll be sticking to the baby balm I’ve tried with less than five ingredients….

I used this for an allergy/eczema rash on my neck that I had been prescribed steroid cream for but whenever I stopped using the steroid cream it flared back up. I wanted a cream that was completely natural and that I could use constantly without worrying about what it was doing to my skin and then I found Procoal on Amazon, which was very reasonably priced compared to other products and also in a glass bottle with a metal lid, no plastic involved, which is something I am passionate about. So I thought I would give it a go and a week later I am very happy with the results. My eczema has almost gone but the good thing is I can just keep using this product without any concerns until my skin is clear. It’s easy to use, doesn’t really smell of anything which is great as far as I’m concerned and a little bit really does go a long way. Fabulous product, highly recommended. I’m very happy with the results.
