Are the chips odorless?

These chips and the whole case are NOT odorless. They smell horrible. I just bought this product and will very likely be returning it. Smells. Horrible. Strong. Smell. Smell. Smellllllly. :(

Is the top of this case engravable for say, a Groomsmen gift?

I don't think it would stand up to it. The case is sort of the weak part of this item, with the latches needing to be bent into position to close, and the gauge of the aluminum is very low. I went and used my fingernail and I can dent the ribbing of the case.

What is the advantage of buying blank chips vs. ones with $ on them?

My friends and I get to give different chips different amounts depending on how many people play and how big we want the stacks to be compared to blinds.
