We roll the shade screen up with the awning - no problems. The only issue is that, when you extend the awning, the screen is also always extended and down.

Have no idea. We only use it with our camper awning that is attached to the camper

Yes you can roll up with the awning. Just make the bungee cords are not hooked in.
