First and foremost, it's really soy sauce, not a mix of chemicals that appear like soy sauce. The bottle arrives packed and sealed nicely. When you open the lid, you smell real fermented aroma of soy sauce. Just right thickness. Not too goo-ey and not too runny. When you use it, be mindful that the product is naturally salty and adds great flavor to noodles or chilli chicken etc., Other than that, I have also used it as an ingredient during baking as well as for making chilli oil. It's great value for money, with the options it offers.

This is easily one of the best soy sauces I’ve ever tried. The aroma is rich and inviting, the texture is smooth, and the consistency feels just right, neither too thin nor overpowering. The simplicity makes me happy for how healthy it is with only four ingredients. It is so balanced. It has that authentic, traditional taste that feels like something carefully made in a Japanese home kitchen. For anyone who values quality and authenticity, this is a standout, and especially, it’s made in Japan, which shows in every drop!

The Kikkoman Soy is flavorsome and fantastic. We have been using the brand for years together having brought in the 1st bottle overseas maybe 15 plus years ago. Unfortunately, the expiry date on the supplied bottle is Jan 2024 which I noticed after opening the bottle. I would have returned it otherwise It is unlikely that we would finish 500ml in 2 months. Please make it a point of checking the expiry date before opening it.
