Their flair at writing such narratives certainly took me by surprise.At one point, we read about a tractor that comes to life in Punjab. He poignantly talks about the insensitivity of its human owner. At another point, we read about the lifelong lizard. The stories are expressions of adventure, family values, time travel, imagination, dreams, and everything good. I am in awe of the writing of the young authors who have put up an engrossing show for the readers of this book.Barefoot Souls is a well-written and presented book with engaging storylines and illustrations. It is a recommended pick for the children. When they will read books by their friends, they'll be motivated to wander in the land of their imagination. Also, isn't the cover very very pretty?Kudos to the author who took the initiative of collecting stories from our young and talented writers. Not to mention, we have great authors in making.

Barefoot Souls children's is a book for children by children! There are 16 short stories written by kids from age 8 to 14 and what a great job they do! 😬The creativity and imagination these kids have put into their stories is amazing. One of my favourite is " The Courageous Princess " About an ancient Japanese princess who time travels and fights an evil scientist. I mean what?! That's so cool, don't you think? There is so much innocence, purity that it melts your heart. The name of the book itself will tell you that. It is of course a children's book but if you're looking for a light hearted, happy book definitely give this a try! 💜These stories were written by children in a program conducted by Ms. Randeep Mand and she took up this task to edit and publish these stories which I think is a great encouragement for not only those kids who have written the stories but also those kids who will read it and make them believe that their creativity and imagination has a place in this world! 💞✨

Their characters are not limited to fictional ones but are also inspired by their surroundings, their families and even their vehicles!It was a fun and breezy read, and got me thinking about what I was writing when I was their age!

The themes of the stories are very varied.From a Japanese princess who flees her kingdom to an old tractor who adjusts to life on a new farm, from a space adventure to life from the perspective of an ant, from a peace-loving warrior king to the life of a lizard, these stories leave you in awe of the talent and sheer imagination of these budding minds!I really enjoyed reading this adorable book. It is a must-read for all children and parents out there! The tales are fun, thought-provoking and heartwarming!

I'm so impressed that these stories were written by 8 - 14 year old children. I bought this for my son, both he and I have thoroughly enjoyed these stories. Absolutely brilliant!
