Will this work for sending audio from a newer tv (with hdmi) to an older reciever (with rca)?

In all honesty. IT did not work for me with going from dish network Joey unit (hdmi) to an older TV with rca. I ended up returning it thru Kohl's to Amazon for credit.

Can you use this to connect Zvox speaker to Samsung one connect box?

it didn't work for me, and I only needed it for the red white and yellow.

Can you use these going from a roku device with hdmi going to an old tv that has rca 3 cables?

Why would this not work for the situation described? The Roku has an HDMI hole where you would plug in this cord. And then you would take the RCA cables and plug that into the back of the old tv. I don't see why these cables would not work. Please elaborate on your answer.

Doesn’t work! Cheaply made!

I don't usually complain about things unless they don't work. This product doesn't work at all. I tried it on three different televisions, and I couldn't get a picture. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy it, but you need to be careful and know that there might be some risks involved.

Older RCA 3 wire cable to newer HDMI input or output signal.

Great cable for older VCR or CD player to send to a newer TV or projector with a HDMI input Port. Also good for a newer TV output to an older input projector as well as an output from an older TV/VCR to an input to a newer TV for widescreen movie viewing.
