Most curtains come in 2 basic sizes, long and longer, intended to serve as a window treatment on a standard window. But not all windows are standard size and it's nearly impossible to find non-standard lengths, so I was thrilled to find these curtains checked all the boxes I required: small size (34 in x 72 in), thick enough to block out a good amount of light, easy to iron and care for, and affordably priced! Here's how I used these - I had the windows replaced in my home and the new windows set further inside my window frame so I was unable to reuse my 2" faux wood blinds. For two of my windows, where I never opened the blinds previously, I determined that I could buy a small tension rod to set inside the window frame with a single curtain panel installed to cover the window. This is why this smaller set of panels was a perfect fit - the panels are only just slightly larger than my window. From the outside, the single panel looks like a nice roller shade. These are not black out curtains now did I desire that, but combined with my standard curtains, they block considerable light, but also allow light to enter the room in a muted way when my curtains are opened. They ironed up nicely and the fabric is thicker and better quality than expected. Tremendously satisfied!

we got the black curtains, and they let no light in whatsoever. if i shut my lamp off it looks like night in here. if you get really close you can see tiny pinpricks of light, but they don’t let light in but any means. doesn’t bother us at all. for the price i paid, they’re above and beyond what i expected. you can’t see in, no light gets in, they look nice, and looks nice from the outside as well! we had blankets hung up to keep the light out prior to this. our room looks so much better without the tacky blankets lol! i absolutely recommend these. there were a couple creases from being folded in the package, but i threw them in the dryer and they’re gone. as long as the curtains are pulled shut (in my one photo they’re open a tiny bit so you can see it’s daylight outside) no light will get in - total blackout as far as we’re concerned!

I was very nicely surprised to see that the drapes were of soft but very heavy duty material that definitely keeps the light out! I love the material! For the price I thought they would be much more cheaply made.

These curtains are very soft and pretty. I got the navy blue and the color is true. Once out of the package, I did a quick steam iron and hung them up. They truly block out the light. Very good quality.

The curtains work well for me as I don't need complete black out. They do not block all of the light but enough for me to sleep well during the day. They aren't very heavy but they do keep my room much cooler than it gets without them.Something nice I've noticed is that dust doesn't seem to cling to them as much as some other curtains I've used.For my own personal use and need, I would give these curtains five stars, but as these are meant to be black out curtains I'm taking one off.

I bought these for my daughter to put in her college apartment. They are great for their intended purpose! They also help keep heat from the sun or cool air in the winter from coming into the room through the window. They are room darkening but do allow a minimal amount of sun in. I did have to iron them after shipment, but they are fairly wrinkle resistant once ironed. I have had a similar set in my bedroom for over a year now, and I love them! Highly recommended!

Purchased these for daughter’s nursery. They’ve worked well. They don’t block out 100% of light, but I’d say at least 80%, and since her window is west-facing these work well enough. the creases from packaging haven’t quite come out even with washing and drying, but they also aren’t too obnoxious. Overall would recommend these and will be buying another pair for guest room.

Was looking for blackout curtains, since Walmart's weren't doing good enough, found these, (on sale as well) and they are perfect, I have purchased two more sets and will be buying more to put on all my windows. Would recommend.

So I took my time to research blackout blinds. I am a night worker. So for me these are highly valuable for my lifestyle. If I don't get my proper sleep, I'm a mess.So after researching I came to find nicetown are a leading brand for blinds. So I measure up and make the orderI was expecting to get branded curtains. And I got ones sent from China that did not block the light. They were not branded. Came in plastic packaging and were of no use to anyone. Not even me.Be careful guys. I instead brought myself another pair from amazon that are not branded. Please see image of the new pair

As promised great black out curtains, for those of us, who has to sleep during the day. Same as for the black ones.

PLAIN BLACK, BLACKOUT CURTAINS IS WHAT I WANTED AND THATS JUST WHAT I GOT :) I WAS ON THE HUNT FOR A WHILE FOR THESE CAUSE I NEEDED A 45 INCH LENGTH AND THEY ARE HARD TO COME BY WHEN YOU DONT WANT TO PAY A FORTUNE FOR THEM...WHY THEY CHARGE SO MUCH MORE FOR SHORTER LENGTH CURTAINS IS BEYOND ME, BUT I THINK I DID OK SPENDING 20 ON THESE... IM HAPPY :) I JUST MOVED HERE AND THERE WAS A WHITE PAPER BLIND UP IN THE BATHROOM WINDOW THAT I THOUGHT WOULD BE OK UNTIL I FOUND THE CURTAINS I WANTED....UNTIL I REALIZED THAT MY NEW NEIGHBOUR IS SOMEWHAT OF A PEEPING TOM AND COULD SEE INTO MY BATHROOM AT THE SIDES OF THE BLIND.... I DISCOVERED THAT A MONTH INTO MOVING HERE LOL... WELL, NO MORE SHOWER SHOWS FOR HIM LOL....THESE FIT THE WINDOW PERFECTLY AND THEY TRULY ARE BLACKOUT...YAY ... THEY ARE A REALLY RICH COLOR OF BLACK, THEY ARE SOFT AND HANG NICELY WITH MINIMAL WRINKLES IN THEM (NO NEED TO IRON... THEY WILL COME OUT AFTER A COUPLE OF HOT SHOWERS) ... IT TOOK A WHILE FOR THE BLACK COLOR TO FINALLY BE RESTOCKED AND IM SUPER HAPPY WITH THEM AND YOU WILL BE TOO :) I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.....JUST ONE SUGGESTION THOUGH...IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THEY CAME WITH TIEBACKS, BUT THATS NO BIGGIE -YOU CAN BUY THOSE AT THE DOLLAR STORE :)

Pic was taken at 1:05pm. South facing windows. Light comes in the two windows and makes the television hard to see. Now we haven't got that problem since putting them up. They are very basic curtains, nothing fancy at all, but if you're in need of light blocking curtains these are it.. I removed a star because I was sent one new pair and one used pair. They were packaged totally different and the one that was packed bunched up without cardboard insert has 2 runs in it. Thankfully these are just in the tv room. I didn't want the hassle of going to the post office and waiting for a new set.

I really like these curtains. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice they were once I got them hung up. I had a set of chocolate brown curtains from Walmart and purchase these to match them as I couldn't find the same ones I already had. I ended up liking these ones so much more that I ordered another set and got rid of the Walmart ones. The texture is very sheer and smooth. The wrinkles came out overnight and they lay very nicely. They also are truly blackout curtains which is why I purchased them for a nursery.
