We're back in dresses and skirts baby!
I really like these slipshorts. The wide waist band is comfy and doesn't roll on me (and I have a tum). My mom and I were looking for lace slipshorts and happened upon this brand. They do cost a little more, but we like the added cotton gusset, and that they are made in America. The seamless inner thigh is a must. They do the trick for stopping thigh rub with NO COMPRESSION, and I prefer this prettier, silky fabric to other brands I have tried. Got the black which are really pretty (and may return for the dusty lilac!). We read all the reviews and originally each ordered up a size, but both of us decided to return them for the size originally recommended in the size guide. Depends how one likes it to fit. Even with the more fitted size, on me these come up above my belly button (which is fine). For reference I am 5'5". And I gotta love Amazon Prime for returns and exchanges.

These fit comfortably and look pretty
I am taking a star back. These fit comfortably and look pretty, but you can hear these thunder thighs coming a mile away when I walk. It's like wearing corduroys, they announce my presence. I had to toss them out after one very embarrassing day of wear.

Beware the color bleed...
The good: they do prevent thigh chafing.Things I do not like: I bought the size that matched my measurements, and the Classic version fit perfectly. This style falls down and requires constant adjusting. At the same time, when I'm seated, they dig in uncomfortably pretty much everywhere.I am not a fan of the itchy lace. They are very loud when I walk. And, despite having been washed at least weekly for the past four months, the color still bleeds. I always use cold water and take things out of the machine immediately to line dry, and I figured after this many washes it would be okay to put the light lavender undersummers in with other light clothing. It was not, and a brand new dress is now ruined.I like the Classic style better, though those aren't even holding up as well as I expected for the cost. They are more comfortable and the black color hasn't come out on anything else in the wash, but they are also only four months old and already have holes around the bottom of the legs.

Look no further than undersummers!
I think these are exactly what I've been looking for! I wear a skirt everyday to work and have tried several products to avoid the dreaded thigh chafe! I tried powders, gels, bandelettes, and the jockey shorts but found that most of them either didn't last, rolled up, or fell down. So I finally decided to give the undersummers a try.Now they aren't terribly sexy looking, in fact my husband started teasing me when I first tried them on (they are kinda old-fashioned looking), however they fit very well and I think this is the product I have been desperately searching for! They fit very well in the thigh area and provide full coverage for most of my thigh (the bottom of the shorts stops a few inches above my knee). This means that all parts of my thighs that could potentially rub together are fully covered but it's still short enough that it won't peek out from underneath any of my skirts or dresses (I only wear skirts/dresses that are knee-length or longer). For reference, I'm 5'0" and about 205 pounds (size 18/XXL in bottoms) so I ordered the 1x-2x plus and they are basically a perfect fit. The only thing I noticed is that the top of the waistband is just a little bit tighter than I expected it to be, however, this seems to help keep the shorts from rolling or falling down below my stomach the way that the Jockey slipshorts do (those will roll down very quickly and create a terrible muffin top). The undersummers definitely help keep my tummy neat and smooth underneath my clothes without pinching or creating a big bulge. These are a little pricey but I'm hoping that the price will be an indicator of quality and that they will hold up after frequent wear. So far I think it's money well spent!

Stops the chub rub
Perfect for wearing under dresses during the summer or any other time too. The lace around the legs help keep them in place and don't roll up. They are NOT a compression wear, so you don't feel the tight uncomfortableness. I got them mainly to stop the chub rub and they do a fantastic job at doing exactly that. Have to say they are expensive and would buy more if they weren't so darn pricey but this is my second pair and I do like them. I ordered a 3x and wear a size 20-22 pants with very round thighs, I may have gotten away with a 2x, but like a loose comfort.

Great product!
I love these, but I wish they weren't so expensive. Ten dollars less and I'd have bought 8 of them. They fit perfectly, actually. I was kind of shocked as I'm a fat girl with a belly. Almost nothing fits this well.

My favorite purchase this year!
I can't believe how much I love these! I wear a size 16, 5ft 7in, 235 lbs, ordered a 2x but probably could have gone down to a 1x. I have large hips and thighs and a long torso. Trying to find comfortable undergarments to wear under dresses has always been a struggle... until I found these! Other shorts will roll at the top or are too tight on my thighs so I end up with an unattractive bulge or a visible line above my knee. I have some lighter colored dresses and skirts that were almost see-through before. I bought the nude color and plan on purchasing the black. Highly recommended!Update: Bought another in nude/1x and they are perfect. I STILL plan on buying more to wear under dress pants. These are far more comfortable than any underwear I have owned (I'm 36). I have quite a bit of cellulite, no matter how big or small I have been, on my legs and butt. These give my bottom half a smooth appearance under dress pants.

An essential piece of kit - pretty, too!
These do exactly what you need them to do - stop your thighs chafing in hot weather when wearing dresses and skirts. I've basically been living in jeans, cutoffs etc, because of the chafe and now am able to dust off my dresses again. Although they might not be the most attractive item ever seen, the lace makes them as pretty as possible, and I will be ordering the other colours too. Fit is nice, feel is silky, they don't squash you in (these are not shapewear) which means you don't squish out elsewhere. I can breathe in these! The legs do not cut in (a problem I've had with other brands). Highly recommended, essential piece of kit for your wardrobe.

Total game changer!!
These are amazing! I've been looking for a product like this for years and they are just perfect. So soft and silky you cannot even feel you're wearing them. I am a size 18/20 And also I am 6 ft tall size x3 are comfortably loose I may try a size down next time I buy. Fab product!

Nice
They are expensive, but they are a great relief to have.

Made of polyester, too hot for the summer
These do work against chafing. However they are made of 95% polyester, so if wearing during hot weather prepare to get really hot. Personally I’m only comfortable wearing these in spring. Way too hot for actual summer. Overall, disappointing
