These are very high quality memory cards. They were very easy to install and function perfectly. The hardest part is finding what cards you need for your particular computer/laptop. Crucial has a great fit chart for you to use on their website. I strongly suggest going there first before you order from Amazon.

It's RAM and it works. Helped speed up my lower-spec HP 14" laptop. Reputable brand and a decent value, especially with the component price and availability fluctuations in 2020. Crucial is one of Micron's consumer lines, and Micron is what was in my laptop from the factory, so I felt comfortable using this. Exactly what I was expecting.

I ordered this to avoid the Apple tax charged for officially Mac compatible SO-DIMM memory. At the time, I paid $49 vs the $69 for Crucial "Mac" memory. I installed two 4 GB sticks in my 2017 IMac (increasing the system total to 16 GB) and they worked perfectly. It's been 2 months now with no issues. I'd highly recommend this for anyone who wants to save some money upgrading RAM on their Macs.

I've put RAM in several desktops but not a micro desktop. Learned after considerable frustration and some reading that open slots require may require you to put the stick in and out and lock it in and unlock it several times to get the unused contacts to clean off and make good contact. That's not something you typically do with larger conventional sticks which have a much tighter fit and better contact. After that the new sticks worked great and PC was noticeably faster.

Plug and Play. Worked without issue. I would recommend this to a friend.

When it comes to memory there are mainly two options. Companies who buy memory chips from someone else and spend lots of money on marketing when they have little control over their own product. And the few vendors, like Crucial/Micron, who make their own memory, control every aspect, and have a huge advantage. The advantage grows even wider when it's a US based company and a leader in the global memory industry like Crucial, a division of Micron, is. So you can buy Chinese or Taiwan re-branded often inferior memory where most of the money goes into marketing and packaging especially for the "gaming" brands like G. Skill and Corsair. Or you can buy high quality memory from a US manufacture that designs and manufactures their own memory and it just works every time like this RAM does because they're not at the mercy of some substandard Chinese memory chip maker.

It works like a Crucial does. Replaced the faulty A-TECH order, decided to avoid the possible bad batch and just went with Crucial.

I work on computers for a living and have experience with almost every brand of memory out there. Crucial has always been a solid choice and a good value for everyday use. There are other good brands too, but if you're in doubt, just go with Crucial and you won't have a any problems. I never seem a Crucial memory module fail.

Bought the RAM for iMac 27 inch, 2017. Easy to install and works perfectly.

Ces deux barrettes sont arrivées sous enveloppe rigide et dans un étui qui les protège parfaitement. Elles m'ont permis de doubler la mémoire RAM de mon iMac 27" 5K Rétina de 2017, en passant de 8 à 16 Go, pour obtenir à moindre coût une accélération sensible des actions courantes (ouvertures de fenêtres par exemple). Je ne pense pas que le gain en vitesse aurait été plus important en choisissant des barrettes d'une capacité supérieure, compte tenu du type de travaux que j'effectue sur cet iMac. L'installation est très facile après avoir tout débranché, les 2 cartes s'entichent parfaitement dans les slots, et le Mac redémarre en réinitialisant sa mémoire, ce qui prend une dizaine de secondes supplémentaires, puis tout fonctionne à nouveau normalement... mais plus vite qu'avant !

Ich hatte mir die RAM Riegel für meinen iMac Mid 2017 gekauft und von 8 GB auf 16 GB zu upgraden. Das RAM Update hat perfekt funktioniert, einfach reingeschoben und den Mac gestartet. Bisher bin ich nicht enttäuscht, muss aber sagen das Crucial generell eine gute Marke ist, die ich schon öfters als RAM und HDD's hatte und bisher immer die besten Erfahrungen gemacht. Wer natürlich mehr Geld übrig hat, kann sich Corsair kaufen, die Riegel sind dann sicherlich besser, aber ich bin mit diesen absolut zufrieden. Vor allem für diesen Preis unschlagbar!

En mi caso la compré para un iMac del 2017 y es totalmente compatible ahorrándote un buen dinero si la comparas con la original. Works perfectly in my new iMac 2017 (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017), 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5, macOS Sierra 10.12.6. Received my order 2 days early and it took me 10 minutes to install. My "About This Mac" now shows "16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4". Worked on the first boot, no problem encountered whatsoever. Original iMac memory were in slots 1 and 3 and I installed the Crucial memory in slots 2 and 4. Very happy to finally not have to worry anymore about too many programs or webpages being open at the same time.
