Updated 5/18/21: Excellent wheels, takes some getting used to...
These wheels are more shock absorbing than my last rollerblade brand wheels of same durometer. I think this is because the urethane "tire" is thicker than my last wheels, giving them more spring. This is good, because the extra spring helps absorb shocks from pebbles and road roughness. But if you're used to stiffer wheels, it might take some time to get used to these. Until you do figure it out, these wheels might wear a bit unevenly. That's what happened in my case. I hated these, until I got used to them. And then it was ok. Four stars. Good wheels, just not exactly what I expected.Edit 5/18/21: upgrade to 5 stars. These wheels are lasting a lot longer than I thought, and they have been essential to skating around my area which has good paved paths, but also sand, gravel and cracked uneven bits. Great grip, shock absorption and durability. I'm going to buy these again when the old ones wear out. Someday I might get wheels larger than 80mm, but not right now.

Great Wheels
Well you get what you paid for, and I definitely got what I paid for. These wheels are absolutely superb! Love the lime color. I've had them for a little over 2-3 months and still I haven't seen too many damaging signs of wear. What's key to keep these wheels lasting longer is to rotate them, and switch the wheels on their opposite side to sustain wheel life. So far they're holding up pretty damn well. I came to a screeching T-stop once and the wheels surprisingly didn't wear down too hard. I can tell the quality of these wheels are built to ride and take on some hard braking. After all, they are hockey wheels. USA made baby. Can't get any better than that. I totally recommend these wheels for replacing stock ones if need be. Cheap, affordable, and excellent quality.

Great cheap throw-away thrash wheel for hockey
So if you're a recreational skater you'll love these as you would probably any other wheel, for players this is a great thrash wheel to shred on bad courts but personally I feel that's about it (they're 78A btw). Grippers would be the next step up regarding price point from these on indoor (wood/sport/painted), but personally these are a great quick swap for rough/outdoor courts when you need to chew up a cheap wheel. On indoor (especially wood) I could get the wheels to chunk and rip off the hub in no time lol

Gripping the pavement with extreme prejudice
I threw these wheels on to an older pair of skates and noticed a significant difference immediately. I'm strictly a road/recreational outdoor skater, nothing indoors. These wheels are able to grip the pavement in a way that would have been completely unsafe with my old wheels. I'm able to cut harder on hills and on flat ground. That's a big deal to me because I skate with my dog (and if you've ever owned a dog before, you know they have a tendency to just STOP with no warning -- hence, turns are pretty important for safety's sake)I used my old bearings here so I really got a true test of the difference in the new wheels (otherwise it would be tough to separate the performance of the wheels vs the bearings). There was a small but noticeable increase in speed, and definitely a smoother ride. Nothing stuck out to me more than the grip though. I was skeptical because my old wheels were a 78A durability and these are 83A -- I was afraid that the harder wheel would give me less traction on the pavement. I was really happy to be wrong about that, because I couldn't be more impressed with the control I have now with the Labeda wheels.Speaking of bearings, it's worth pointing out that these wheels do not come with new bearings (that would normally be clear to anybody reading the description, but some dopes like myself tend to skim over that information). For what it's worth, I really like the neon green color too. It's unique -- I don't need my skates to look like everybody else's.Easy call to give this one 5 out of 5 stars. I'd recommend to anybody like me who does most of their skating on the road, especially folks who need to turn on a dime. They might be great indoors too, I just wouldn't know, personally.

Excellent Wheels, Amazing customer service
These wheels are excellent, and are exactly what I was looking for. High quality, resilient, great for turning + speed.I made a mistake and inserted the wrong size spacer that couldn't be removed. The customer service team was so kind and helped me out, sending me a replacement wheel, free of charge! I will 100% be buying my next set of wheels from this company. Thank you Labeda team, and thank you Kayla!

Great for Urban / Road Skating
I'm a relatively new skater, after a long hiatus (used to skate and play street + indoor hockey as a youth, now am in my late 20's). I picked up some K2 Skate Men's F.I.T. 80 Inline Skates, which came with eight 80mm 80A/ABEC wheels and bearings. I set off for some practice / fitness routes (3-7mi at a time) out in the city (mostly concrete / asphalt mix). After a week or so of moderate use (20mi total), they were toast. I did the first rotation after about 15mi of total use, and within 1mi two wheels separated and I had to shelve the skates until these arrived. Now, nearly 15mi in on these wheels and I couldn't be happier. The 80A's that came with the skates felt sluggish at times- possibly because I am a big guy (6, 285lbs), maybe 80A's just aren't for guys like me to go on asphalt. But these 83As are like night and day difference on the road. They're very smooth and feel super quick- I have great grip, even on lightly sandy / gravel-y surfaces throughout the city. Also, even though I'm about to do my first rotation today (just to keep things nice and even), they could probably last another 5mi before needing a good rotation. I've noticed very little wear on my LH #1, which for me is the wheel that wears the quickest.
