Can this be used with clear spar varnish?

This product is basically very clean fine white sand. When mixed with paint, and I suppose varnish, when it dries, it creates an anti-slip gritty surface.

Can this be added to Thompson’s water seal?

I don't know. I used it in paint for in front of my stoop, which was very slippery from water rolling off my roof. It worked great.

Did anti-slip also provide 'cool' deck?

Since my small boat has an aluminum hull, it stays the temperature of the water. The additive is nothing much more than fine white sand and when mixed with paint forms the anti-slip rough surface. Use a good deck paint.

Would this work well on a diving board?

I would think so. I used it on the fiberglass floor of my boat, and the texture is very similar to that of a diving board. I would use the rustoleum marine paint with it.

Awesome non skid additive

Great stuff, mix before every roller dip before spreading. Did one layer , then did a layer of paint over the top for added durability and makes it less harsh.
