These pins are very nice! I have long thick hair and have to put my hair in a bun or French twist for work. These are the ONLY pins that will keep my hair in place. I have tried many others but these work. They are jumbo (probably 1.5inches) and have big rivetes.

These bobby pins are a dream come true for someone with thin hair. My child is a dancer who has thin, fine hair that doesn't hold regular bobby pins well. These fit firmly and the extra deep grooves makes crossing pins (for a more secure style) a breeze. I recommend these highly.

They hold thick hair better than any other brand

These are the only Bobby pins that hold my hair up! I have thick long hair down to my mid back and its layered. Love the product and definitely recommend.

I'm a longtime happy customer on Scunci products, and can read the very positive reviews of these bobby pins. Unfortunately, they didn't work out for me. This is the first time I tried the Scunci bobby pins. Bobbie pins need a certain tautness, but these are so inflexible that they are very difficult to open. They don't slide in easily, nor do they come out easily at all. The ripples in them add to the inflexibility. These may work for some people, but I had a terrible time putting them in and removing them. I have very thick hair, but bobby pins shouldn't be so rigid that they tear at the hair, sorry to say. Those who have had a great experience with them, I'm happy that they work, but my experience with them didn't turn out well at all. Sorry.

They are pretty good in quality and strength. The only problem is that they tend to twist sideways when putting them in my hair.
