We love this statue. It was packaged well, yet, there was something moving inside the statue when I picked it - as if something in the circuit had come lose. So I was not sure it would work. Anyway, we installed the statue in the yard, since the statue is beautiful. Reading all the reviews, I found a bright spot close to the pool and near small plants, where the back of the statue would receive plenty of light. It charged all day and the light stayed on for at least 5 hours when I went to bed. The second day, there was a sudden weather change and a huge downpour (5 inches of rain). I wanted to bring it in, but part of me also wanted to test out....luckily that morning, after seeing water on the statue from sprinklers, I had moved him slightly on a stone, where water could not flood the battery compartment BTW the battery compartment is inside the base, but kind of raised internally by 1/1.5 cm, so that helps but standing water would be bad. Now he has been out for almost 2 weeks and functioning fine, in spite of a couple other heavy rains. On cloudy days, the light does not last long, so my guess is that sensors are not too strong. Regardless of the light though, the posture and expressions of the statue are so calming and serene, that it is a delight to have for our zen garden.

It has been 2 years now. Still we enjoy the calm and peace of this Buddha. Inspite of heavy storm, Buddha stayed on his place without any damage. The solar light is not working now but that is completely acceptable for the time period we have been having.

First product did not work. Followed the instructions and it would only stay lit for about 10 minutes. I would have to turn it on and off. Exchanged it for a new one and it works like a charm. Love how the flame flickers. Just enough like to illuminate Buddha’s face.

One of my favorite purchases… I may order more as a gift… they work well and light up great… super cute and great for any outdoor patio or entrance way. It does need direct sun to charge they are solar powered.

Great fit for my Zen Garden .

Finally opened the box and my first thoughts are not good. Yes they have a good appearance but the solar part looks to be very poor quality. Neither lite out of the box so got one changing outside but kind of over cast so might not get full charge sun today. Bulb isn't straight more on an angle with part of its base visible not sure why the bulb isn't replacable since flame bulbs are sold. Its light weight so if good winds come blowing my guess this will be going for a ride. Why battery compartment doesn't have easy removable cover so you can charge/change battery if needed since its recessed off the bottom away from any water under it instead you need to remove 4 screws. I don't have high hopes for this at least solar part but I'll see.Update: correction they aren't as light weight as thought, not heavy but enough to hold in place on mild windy days. They one i left out side did take a charge but closer examination showed a wire sticking out side of the solar panel. Second one lite but only for 3 seconds at a time when turned on and could hear something rattling around inside. Poor quality control so will be returning these and see a problem of water pooling on top of solae panel around bulbs since no drain holes.

[Edited] lowering the rating as the bulbs in BOTH solar lights stopped working after just 3 weeks.This Buddha solar light sits on our pool deck (protecting skimmer cover). It looks great and provides light at night. My only dislike is that rain water builds up in "moat" around the bulb (drainage holes here may have helped).

Oui c'est vrai, elles sont un peu dispendieuses à l'achat mais je ne regrette pas ! Ces lumières en fleur de lotus donnent un bel effet le soir dans mon jardin. Elles ont une lumière jaune et non blanche. Facile d'utilisation et belle qualité!

Esta hermoso me encantó.Solo que nose si se recarga con el sol o si usa pilas… lo averiguaré. Su luz se apaga cuando hay luz y se prende cuando hay oscuridad! Muy lindo adorno para jardín o centro de mesa
