Clip breaks easily
I have had 4 of these pedometers and am still using the first one I ever got. I have had to buy the other 3 to get the clip, which seems to break at about 6 months. Pedometer is great, but the clip is CRAP! Please sell the clip separately, or improve the quality.

When you misuse a tool, expect disappointment
The pedo is fine, just not what I thought. I should have read (and heeded!) the comments and questions. If you don't know how far you walk, this is for you. I've paced off more (Scout) competition fields and building distances, and google maps gives you excellent walking path distances, so I don't need a pedo. Doh, now I tell me! Goodwill gets this one. What they'll do with it, heaven knows. I'll feel better. It's all about me. Anyway, the device is fine, inexpensive, easy to read.

Counts steps while in the car
I have been an Amazon customer for almost 20 years (back when they sold only books) and this is the first review I have ever written, because I feel the need to inform others of a serious flaw with this product. This dumb pedometer registers steps while in the car! I keep it in my purse overnight and then grab it on my way out, so the only steps it should register in the morning are those 20 or so between my front door and the car. However, yesterday I made a stop on my way to work and noticed it had counted 700+ steps! So I kept one eye on it as I was driving (the other eye on the road, of course...) and watched it register steps as I was going along. By the time I got to work, it had over 900! It wasn't constant and it seemed to correlate with bumps in the road (which makes sense) but I live in New England and bumps in the road are a fact of life. I can reset it to 0 steps at the start of the day when I get to work, but I still have to look at my steps and do the math to subtract any additional steps that are recorded any time I am in the car for the rest of the day. Had I known this, I would not have purchased this item. Having said that, I did give this 2 stars, because it is cute and easy to use and I don't know if this issue would exist with other brands as well.

WAYYYYY off count
I LOVE the design of this, and that it comes with a clip and a string attachment. **HOWEVER** It has counted over 14,000 steps today (so far-it's 4pm) when I KNOW I am somewhere between 6000 and 8000. I had a pedometer that was pretty dang accurate, but I didn't love the design, as it was always falling off of my pants- I also accidentally flushed it down the toilet (because it flew off my pants.) True story. So I bought this one. I don't actually want a watch, as I don't want something on my wrist. I sadly, have to send this back. I can't believe how inaccurate it is. I'm sad. :(

Little but mighty pedometer
I am disabled due to a bacterial infection that went septic. I'm now home from the hospital and working very hard on things that I have forgotten. I have to learn to walk again. I am finding the pedometer very valuable to keep tract of my progress. Two steps forward and one back. Lol
