Best book on the Parsi Community
This book gives a detailed account of a community which has given so much to India. The respect for Parsi's just grows multifold after reading this brilliant account by Coomi.

From Butter to Bohemian Rhapsody - an Awe Inspiring Community
What is common thread runs through this alliterative list? Butter, Bangladesh, Bombay, Bomb, Beethoven, Bohemian Rhapsody – it is yet another B – the Bawas. The Parsis are a gift to India from Persia. Despite its microscopic size, the community has contributed disproportionately more to this country than any other religious community.Lucidly written but suffers from an inordinate excess about the corporate spat between the Tatas and Cyrus Mistry.Answer: Polson, Sam Manekshaw, Parsis, Homi Sethna, Zubin Mehta, Farrokh Bulsara aka Freddie Mercury

Great Information but completely bias
the book is a well researched one with a good birds eye view of the parsis, a good read whoever has interest to know about the parsis and off course their history is reflection of the evolution of Bombay, however at certain parts the book takes sides and becomes judgmental to not only vintage but also contemporary incidents, which I think should have been avoided. Over a must read

An intriguing book on the history of Parsis in India
The book starts with Tata and Mistry feud and also talks about influential Parsi women. There is a deeper history, too, so those who have interest in Zoroastrian, can read this.
