Diane 100% Medium Boar Club Brush, D8118 : firm boar bristle, 7 Inch (Pack of 1)

I prefer these Club Brushes over those without a handle. I ordered a different brush from another manufacturer: same size 7” long by 2” wide with medium bristles. In my opinion the bristles are somewhat too stiff. I took a chance on this one and was glad I did. It may list the bristles as a medium, however, I find them to be between a soft and medium. The brush just works better for me. For point of reference my beard is short at 10mm in length. I have 2 other soft bristle brushes without handles so I placed an order for this same club brush with soft bristles. I expect it to meet my needs and expectations without any issues. Btw the brush is well manufactured with a nice lacquered wood handle and 8 rows of bristles. I will be sure to post a review on the soft club brush once I take receipt.

LOVE this brush ! a lot of these brushes on my hair texture tend to wave out the hair when im trying to go for a straight slick back look but not this one ! This one has my hair nice and slicked back and is sooo soft to the touch it just works perfectly ! 10/10 buy this

If you have children that aren't fond of hair brushing time then PLEASE buy this brush. I cant believe I spent 4 years fighting with my son to brush his long curly hair and I could have just been using this. It makes such a difference using this brush compared to the normal plastic ones. Its so gentle on the hair and slowly works out tangles without breaking strands or causing pain. This brush isn't going to get out really bad knots but its great for everyday use on anyone. My mother who is in her young 60s also loves it.

Great product for waves or straightening your works nicely !! I even use on the shortest hair on my sideburns and beard Strong and durable wood brushes are classic ! Styles your hair with little effort...

TL;DR - Pretty good brush, but will take a long time to detangle hair if you have a lot of it + can't brush through several layers of hair. Best used in combination with other brushes. EDIT: Have been using this for long enough to say it definitely reduces hair breakage! I'm a person of European descent, so my hair structure is fine/thin but I have a full head of it with lots of length. I bought this brush because it's supposed to help reduce hair breakage, I haven't been using it long enough to really note if there's a huge difference but I do notice less loose hair in this brush after brushing my hair compared to a regular detangler brush. The first thing I noticed about this brush is that it didn't really *feel* like it was detangling/brushing my hair. Rest assured it definitely is brushing your hair, but if you're trying to brush through multiple layers of hair (like when you want to do a low ponytail) it doesn't seem to work that great. This brush seems to work best if you can separate your hair into thinner "layers" and brush through them separately (I find flipping all my hair upside-down is the easiest way to get through all of my hair, but this is counter intuitive if I'm just doing a low ponytail). If I'm doing a low/hair down hairstyle, I run this brush through my hair first to get a lot of the small tangles out then use a regular detangler to "finish the job" so to speak (like I said before, this brush doesn't really *feel* like it's brushing compared to others). This brush does a really nice job of keeping my hair conditioned though, I notice that my hair doesn't look as greasy and it seems to even be helping with dandruff (mine is normally pretty bad but I haven't noticed as much flaking). Overall I think the brush is decent but it takes a really long time to detangle with this if you have a lot of hair like I do. The brush itself is somewhat small so I sometimes find myself dropping it more than other brushes, but it's solid. It could cause hand cramps in those with bigger hands. The bristles feel really nice. I do wish the bristles were a tad longer though, maybe then it would actually *feel* like it is brushing.
