This has worked great in the couple times I have used it. As some reviewers have noted the handle you pull to open the jaws is a bit flimsy. They would do well to make the handle out of a stronger plastic or epoxy. Having read those reviews I take care to pull firmly and slowly so as not to stress the plastic out. Also I am 5'9" and i think it could use an extra 6" of length on the handle. I have to stoop just enough that if there is a bunch of dog product to retrieve I can feel in my back that I have been bending. This would be better or worse depending on how tall you are. Other than that it has worked great for me.

I purchased this poop scooper after suffering an injured back. Since I cannot bend to pick up my dog's waste in the yard, I thought this tool would be of practical help and it definitely is. It allows me to effectively clean up solid waste without further injuring my back or being sore all day. The only challenge is when the waste is fresh. The scooper effectively picks it up, holds it until the handle/grabber is released, but sometimes the waste clings to the teeth and tool making it a little messy to shake off completely into a bucket. However, since this tool is most helpful to me with my back injury limitations, I would highly recommend it for anyone in a similar situation! My husband's only complaint is that it also rips up some of the grass but that's the same with using a shovel.

The unit works okay. It will break guaranteed and you will investing in another one. The breakage point for me was the plastic hinge. They are very thin...not very strong. Got about 3 months before it broke.

The handle is much too short!!! Other than that it's ok. The discription is deceiving! It's called @@@ long handle pooper scooper! 😩👎 was not sure I shouldn't give two stars but it works well otherwise.

I would just like to say, I read some negative comments about this item.I have 5 dogs and use this almost daily. it is kept in a shed out of the weather, and after 18 mths it looks and works like it did brand new.I would recommend this to any one who needs a product like it.

I have been in need of this for a while, when I received the LNE long handled portable pooper scooper it was perfect size for what we needed for our dogs. It is easy to used and very well made. It also came wother two rolls of little bags for disposal.
