I ordered the thing going by the reviews. But it was a total disappointment. It is nothing but water. I applied the whole content of the bottle on a very small area of my recliner cushion. Couldn't get the expected plasticy surface.

Too early to comment on the effectiveness of the liquid but the spray bottle did not work. I had to buy an empty spray bottle and fill the liquid in it.

This product works well - does what it says and keeps any messes from getting to deep into my carpets and upholstery. Now granted, this wasn't something I was keen to test out, with say a glass of wine like the commercials, but my cat has been throwing up all over the place and this product was perfect to fight that.
