5 stars based on expectations after reading other reviews. Use for predator and predator bait hunting around the farm. Light doesn't spook wildlife easily. I got within 30 yards of a raccoon(yes, they will kill chickens) before it "expired", and 20 yards from a rabbit(predator bait) before it also expired. First, the battery. It's 3000mAh. One review said it melted while charging. Both ends of battery are flat. No nipple on the positive side like a standard AA or AAA. Read the label and pay attention how you put it in the charger. I have other 18650 batteries with the positive nipple and they work with this light as well. Second, the pressure switch. It is junk. Go ahead and pretend it isn't even in the package.(Update)I did message seller about the faulty pressure switch. Not only did they respond promptly to send a replacement, they went above and beyond to make sure I received a working part. Third, the barrel mount. It doesn't even clamp down on a 12ga barrel, but it does clamp nicely on the foregrip nut of my Remington 1100, and remained there after 2 shots of express load #2 buck. It does fit on the scope of my .22, but the outer ring of light hits the front of the barrel causing glare. Just have to work with it and see what works best for you. Last, the light. It's bright. Great beam distance. It's an easy 100 yards to the trees in the video posted with this review. I did disassemble the lights down to the individual pieces. The reflector is machined out of what seems to be thick aluminum. The lense is actually glass. I was shocked. The housing is very well built. At $35, even if it was just the flashlight, it's an outstanding deal for a great product.

Great light! I have had it for about 3 years now on my 22lr (shown in pic) which I use for nighttime hunting for predators. I’ve had it in all kinds of weather... hot, cold, rain, snow, and never had a single issue. It’s bright enough that I can take shots up to about 200 yards with clear visibility, and it doesn’t spook most animals as most of them don’t see red very well. I don’t use the pressure switch, but it does work good. The scope mount that comes with it is very sturdy and easy to take off and on. Comes with a good quality battery which will easily last me a full night of hunting. Overall great buy especially for the price. I am considering buying another for one of my other rifles.

I purchased this about a year ago and have used this hunting numerous times. The range described is about right. Great spotlight for hunting. Never had an issue with battery life and always charge fully before using. Once even half charged. I could never really get it to zoom but don't really need to. It has a strong beam and some residual dimmer surrounding light that gives more surrounding area. My buddy purchased a zoomable more expensive light and this one out performs it. Would recommend for sure. Only issue is the pressure trigger at times does not work. It is finiky.

The clamp mount is useless. I had to use a 1" scope mount to attach it to a picatinny rail. That works great. the light is bright but has a very center concentrated beam which doesn't provide much peripheral field of view at close range but gets better with distance. Taking it pig hunting in TX over the holidays. will update later

This thing is awesome! Got it for my grandson to help him see predators on our hobby farm. Works very well. Shipping was delayed but that's not seller's fault.

I could not figure out how to get the battery in and I think I twisted the wrong end. Never got it to turn on or see it work at all.

Works well, but would like a button that stays on, and not just a deadman switch. Either way, it mounts well. Bright. Works well.

Using this red flashlight I was able to get close enough to the offending animals that I could take care of the issue with no problem. It's super, super bright, but not so much that it's bothersome to the user. I can stand 100 yards from my forest and see everything. Plus since some animals can't see the red light, they ignore it completely. Really nice flashlight, especially for the money.
