This worked perfectly for my kiddo and made my mama heart feel at ease when he would go swimming. Our doc told us to not get water in his ear but we were leaving on vacation the next week, where we'd be in water, daily. So I researched other items and I paired this with the maluable wax and this headband held it in place perfectly. I explained to my 4 yr old why we needed to add this to his head, over his ears and he understood and it didn't bother him. I offered for him to put his own wax in and he was in charge to make sure he threw it away once we were done for the day. Sometimes the band would sort of slip down but it really kept his ears dry with the wax (separate purchase). It was easy to sinch back in place.

This headband works sooo great. I am extremely happy I found this. I have a ruptured eardrum and I can't get it wet at all, and this, combined with some wax earplugs keeps almost every single drop of water out when I swim Lapa in my pool. I just got a new built in pool and I love swimming laps in it every day, and was so bummed that I couldn't get my ears wet for at least a month, until it heals. I have all kinds of ear problems anyways. So I am ecstatic to finally find something that literally keeps all the water out while I swim! It even covers much of my hair so it barely gets wet too. Much better than any swim cap or earplugs I have used, which is many.
