Looks good and works exactly as described. Easy to install — the suction cup holds it securely to the tank glass. The U-tube check valve prevents backflow, which gives peace of mind. The U shaped part was broken before I ever got to use it. The rest works wonderfully.

I modified this so I could use yeast instead and it works really well. For my 20 gal the yeast mixture lasts almost 2 months before I have to change it. I have a really hard time remembering to turn it off at night tho

It works but is not efficient. Instead of forcing the gas evenly through the porous ceramic disk and producing a bazillion small bubbles like in the photos it just produces streams of large bubbles from just two or three spots. These large bubbles rise very quickly to the surface where they pop instead of dissolving in the water. I had to place a circulation pump where it would blast the diffuser in order to create enough turbulence to allow the larger bubbles some time to dissolve. I’ve had some high quality atomizers from GLA that produced super fine CO2 “mist.” This thing is significantly cheaper and its lackluster performance reflects the price. It’s not an awful product but I won’t be buying from this seller/brand again.

the bubbles only come out of one spot on the disc, unless i crank the needle valve way up beyond what i would ever want in my tank. also the bubbles that do come up are mostly larger. seems like i'm wasting a lot of CO2 as my drop checker is still blue, even when i have the rate set nearly double where i should be able to set it for my tank size. also the glass u-pipe broke very easily when i was installing. pretty disappointed overall.

honestly this product for a first time co2 system is a good product. The bubble sizes are good and the design is nice. For the cost you are definitely getting the quality you get which is functional and good. I bought two, but broke 1 while removing the tubing from the diffuser. Overall satisfied with this product. Also you gotta marinate the diffuser in water for the bubbles to come out finer.

Diffuser is pretty fragile. Bought a different one and that didn't break as easily as this one.

El vidrio es muy endeble. Se rompió el tubo a la primera que traté de quitar el tubo. SIn mbargo el difusor es bonito y funciona muy bien

las burbujas no salían, lo tuve que devolver

When rate is increased, bubbles just get bigger and still diffusing from that same point/section. Also, backflow valve leaks.

I bought two of these diffusers and neither one of them allows any CO2 through them. I even hoo led up to my air line to see if I could get flow and well not a single bubble. I guess I should have bought the more expensive ones. Lesson learned!
