Color Cream (Natural Black, 1 Pack) – Korean Herbal Vegan Hair Dye

I rarely leave reviews—only when I'm either extremely disappointed or truly impressed. And in this case, I’m beyond satisfied. This is hands down the best hair dye I’ve ever used, especially for someone with sensitive skin like me. I’ve spent years trying to find a dye that doesn’t cause irritation or burning. I used to rely on henna, but it was such a long and tedious process. This product felt like magic. Not only was there zero burning or itching, but I was honestly shocked at how gentle it was on my scalp. No redness, no stinging—just a smooth, comfortable experience from start to finish. Because I have fully gray hair, it did take two applications to achieve full coverage, but it was completely worth it. The second application gave me the rich, even color I was hoping for—and still, no reaction at all! The results were absolutely amazing. If you’ve struggled with sensitive skin or reactions to hair dye in the past, this is the one. I truly believe this product is a breakthrough, and I’m so grateful I found it.

I bought this product because I have a sensitive scalp and most of hair dye causes terrible itching. I used this product the first time in the gym and applied on myself and my scalp was not itching but coverage was not good. I thought I just didn’t do a good job. So it bought it again and asked my daughter to apply for me. She carefully applied the product on every inch of the base, but after the recommended time of raise. The color washed away immediately. So I would not use this product again since I did give a try twice.

This is a great alternative hair color for those people who are allergic to the popular brands. I use this product to color my middle-aged hair. It is very effective at making me looking younger. The main selling points of brands like Just For Men are low cost and ease of use. This product is more expensive. And it takes more work to apply. But if you are allergic to the popular brands, this is one of your few options. I have used Just For Men and gotten more sensitive. My skin would itch for four days after applying Just For Men. I tried Indus Valley hair color and that too caused an allergic reaction. This is the only hair color product that is not causing an allergic reaction. Follow all of the directions. Go ahead and do an allergy test to be safe. Apply the contents of one tube for ten minutes. Then apply the contents of the second, for another ten minutes. Depending on the amount of grey, you can leave it on a few more minutes. Rinse very well. It works great. Highly recommended to those who are allergic to common hair coloring products. Herb Speedy uses natural ingredients which are less likely to cause an allergic reaction.

I've used the black dye about 5 times. Usually just for gray root cover-up. My fine hair takes a full 30 minutes (10 for #1, 10 for #2 with an additional 10 minutes for stubborn gray). I just make sure I cover all the same areas with #2 that I did with #1. It turns blackish purple as soon as you put #2 over those areas, so you know. The smell is a sulfur like smell which is a bit strong but much preferred over the store dyes. It can linger faintly until the next wash. Even though it's not suggested, I do use color safe shampoo during the rinse and conditioner. I do believe it causes me eye irritation. Not sure yet if it is contact with my face near my eyes or the offgas. My eyes water and produce a grit. Wiping my face and eyelids for any unseen product after each step helped. But it also is worse when I did my whole head versus just roots. But the sores around my neck and hairline from box dyes are gone now. This dye lasts just as long as permanent as it is shampooing that was removing my dye, even color safe. Overall, I think this is a great alternative to store box dyes. Especially if your less sensitive than me and get no eye irritation.

This is the first hair dye I have been able to use without getting an allergic reaction. About a year ago I developed an allergy to hair dye. Every hair dye I tried even the supposedly hypoallergenic ones would cause hives all over my body, swollen face and burning scalp. I did not get an allergic reaction with this product however it did not cover the grays as well as the other products. Next time I will leave it in longer. Some coverage is better than no coverage and I am not able to use any other product without a terrible reaction. So I will continue to use this product.

Hands down I would give this hair color more than 5 stars if I could. I have been allergic to PPD in hair color for over a year now. My allergy was developed. I've colored my hair for years just to keep the gray out😁and all of a sudden, even using the same brand, I started getting oozing blisters all over my head and ears. I thought it was some crazy side effect and couldn't believe it was the hair color alone. I colored again a few months down the road and, BAM, blisters and oozing again. It was painful and horrible. It takes about 2 weeks to fully recover. That was it. I went to a hair professional and she told me it was a chemical in the actual "color" and it was chemical burns. Sooo after about 6 to 7 months of no coloring and research, I read a review on this product and decided to try it. PERFECT!! Not 1 blister or even itchy scalp. I'm beyond blessed to find this. I will keep using this product as long as it's available. If you have sensitive skin, you have to try this. It works and is pain free❤

I was kinda shocked that after putting on the first cream then adding the 2nd on top of it after waiting it turned black immediately! And the black that got on my skin washed away pretty easily vs regular box colors that are almost impossible to get off skin. As such I wondered if the dye on my hair would also wash away but it didn’t! My favorite shampoo is a soap bar type that always washes away tons of color from my regular hair dye but barely any of this black washed out. Only 3 adjustments noticed: 1. You may need 2 boxes because unlike regular hair dye in a box where you mix the developer & color which makes it twice the volume, with this you don’t mix them so it goes half as far if that makes sense. 2. There aren’t any chemical smells while coloring but after rinsing there was a smell so I used hair products that have nice smells and also shampoed (note: I didn’t try the shampoo that came with the color since I’m allergic to nuts so perhaps it helps the smell?) but after shampooing it went away. 3. I didn’t notice the comb that came in the instructions since I had xtra gloves on hand. Apparently it’s important thoroughly apply because I missed a spot that remained completely white/gray so next time I will use the comb. It would be advisable to not use the entire amount in case you miss a spot. I reordered 2 boxes to use again. I’m so thankful as I thought I’d have to stop coloring since I’m so allergic to all regular box dyes. I’m surprised this actually worked!

Absolutely worthless. No coverage for greys and hair feels like hay after.
