I really love the look, size, feel, action & weight of this knife. Great quality. It's definitely one of my favorite edc's of all time.

This is a durable knife, sharp enough for anything I will do with it. It is small enough that I can carry it around in the small pocket of my jeans, although it's heavy. The weight is the price for all-metal construction, and makes me think the knife will last a lifetime. It doesn't seem like it will open or close when I don't want it to, but it's easy enough to do so one handed. The "assist" feature means that the knife opens with a switchblade-like snap almost instantly once the blade starts moving, which is kind of alarming at first but I'm already used to it. It's worth repeating though, it's not likely to open unintentionally.

Love the size, weight and feel of the Squid Assist... Opens very easily, using either your thumb or index finger. Feels very solid and strong, great balance and weight in your hand. Very nice everyday carry.

Crkt is a great product, the opening action on this knife is great the appearance is great and is very sharp out of the box. It has two opening options it has a flipper blade as well as thumb tabs and both work great. It is a little on the small side so if you have large hands I wouldn't recommend it. I have medium sized hands and it is perfect for me.

Comes out of box very sharp. I like the shape of the blade and how quickly it opens.My only dislike is the pocket clip. At the bottom of the clip it sticks out a bit - you can see in the product photos. This gets caught on step ladders if you carry the ladder near whatever pocket your knife is in. Also seatbelts. Stepped out of my truck and the clip was attached to the seatbelt - which bent the clip so it was no longer useable. I was able to repair it by bending the clip with some pliers, but god damn what an inconvenience.

The media could not be loaded. Great little knife. Bought the non assisted first for its size, and then gave it to the wife as she liked it alot. Got the assisted version and love it even more. Easy cary and no so long in the pocket that it digs into your hip. Perfect size and seems very sturdy. And good value. Big fan of CRKT knives...

I have very little hands and have trouble finding pocket knives that are comfy in my hand. Most ergonomic handles are shaped to larger hands and feel awkward in mine. This knife is perfect for me! The blade is very sturdy and the grip is comfy for a small hand. It does feel heavy for its size, but I like that. I also like the finish of it - very stylish. From urban EDC to foraging trips, this blade is proving very handy :)

Great EDK. Fits in my Levi's watch-pocket for reliable access. I use it everyday. Fat blade sharpens easily. Solid partner. Great price. Flips out fast. No Amazon package stands a change.
