I bought this waterproof pet blanket to keep the couch clean from spills and pet hair, and it’s worked perfectly so far. The fleece side is soft and cozy, while the waterproof layer underneath really does stop liquids from soaking through. I tested it with a small spill, and the surface stayed completely dry. It’s lightweight but warm, and my cat actually naps on it now instead of the couch itself. The size fits well over a small sofa section or pet bed. Overall, it’s a well-made, comfortable blanket that does exactly what it promises, great for pets and furniture protection alike.

Blanket is soft to the touch, and large enough to cover our X-Large sized dog bed. It's surprisingly thin, and there is nothing to indicate that the material is indeed waterproof. We tested it by wetting the surface (pick whichever is top or bottom), and indeed the other side was still dry! Our senior pup tried it out, and shortly after it went into the wash. As others have recommended, wash in cold water, and dry on lowest temp. Came out great. I suspect maybe a layer of indiscernible plastic, like plastic wrap, may be providing the waterproof quality, hence requiring low temps on washing care, and making the fabric feel like, well, like a blanket. But who cares, as long as it works. I recommend.

This is exactly what I wanted. The size was perfect, the texture is soft and feels just like a regular blanket. It's warm but not too warm. It's lightweight for the size. I was afraid that this was going to not do what it said it would do with the waterproof deal, but you really can actually pour water on it and it won't absorb it. It is exactly what it says it is and it does exactly what it says it does. I would like to buy more and I will in the future. I highly recommend this product. I love it. I haven't had to wash it yet so I don't know how that's going to go but I hear it that it's hard to dry.

Purchased for an angry kitty who sometimes will go on the couch when he's mad at his humans. This has made his temper tantrums SO MUCH EASIER cleanup wise. It washed well and usually will be dry if left out over night. I definitely should have looked at sizing a bit more.

I have two rescues that spray. Working on that. This blanket their spray does not penetrate it,it bubbles and is easy to paper towels away. Nor retains odors. Works better than advertised. Great for a wet pet, dirty pet, or a dribble pet. Retains repellant after many laundering if needs be.

So far so good. I just purchased several of these blankets after ordering one and testing it. They are really thin so I was very skeptical that they would be waterproof. I poured water on each side and applied pressure thinking I was certainly going to feel the wetness on the other side of this thin blanket. I was pleasantly surprised that was not the case the other side was dry! I did this to both side sides and each side remain remained dry. I just bought these so I don’t know how long that will last. I’ve purchased other waterproof rugs/covers that lose their ability to withstand water after a few washes. I will report back if I find the wetness starts to bleed through. As far as looks and comfort, they are perfect for my dog. She likes fluffy blankets, but these are thin enough that they are not too hot for her in the summer. Notice there are two different styles. One has a finished edge and the other has a furry edge. I bought one of each. I like the finish the edges because it seems more sturdy, but the furry edges look pretty sturdy as well. Washing instructions say to not put blanket in the dryer…that will be a little difficult with the bigger ones but worth it if these hold up.

Great! Stays waterproof wash after wash and never soaks through and is still super soft!
