I love this vest. It works. I felt very secure. I have been using for the past year, mostly in lakes (medium to large) and rivers (slow moving to extremely fast.) No chaffing around the shoulders, shoulder blades or underarms. Excellent quality, sturdy sewing on the straps. No stray threads, no rips, no week seams. Easy to move around in. I wanted a brighter color, something that stands out, like a red or pink, but was not available in my size. (I just wear scrunchie reflectors in my hair or tape reflectors on my hat. I am not sure you can tape anything to this vest and not compromise it, so, I just won't.)

I got this for my husband for kayaking. The XXL fits so much better than the cheap life jackets they give you with rentals. He is 5' 10" 240lbs and stocky with broad shoulders. He isn't a strong swimmer so he prefers to wear a life jacket the entire time. Even on a hot day with a T-shirt underneath this jacket was still comfortable. He even tipped his sit on top kayak (2 feet of water, hit a big river rock while bird watching lol) and the jacket wasn't cumbersome. Also the inside pocket was perfect for his phone so he could take pictures but it didn't get splashed by the oar or the class 1 rapids.

I ordered the XL thinking it would be fine to accommodate my larger frame and broad shoulders as a 5'5 woman but it was WAY TOO BIG. Do not order size up as it runs roomy/on edge of true to size. It is very comfortable and I've worn it for 4+ hours kayaking. I am sad the green did not come in a LG when I reordered but the Blue is pretty as well and should offer same visibility on the water.

The vest looked great and fit well. I'm a bigger size so that's always a concern ordering online. Sizing chart matched up just right. Fortunately I haven't had to test it yet. Knock on Teak wood.

I bought this kind of last minute for a trip up north where I would be riding a JetSki. It really impressed me for the cost. I’m a fairly. big guy, 6’1’’ and 295 lbs. this vest had great coverage, felt secure, and performed very well.

Amazon does it again. I purchased because of the number of purchases and quality expressed in reviews. I’m so happy with my purchase. this will give us many years use because of the quality. It also fits as expected. You will not be disappointed!

A very nice life jacket. So I’m not going to take stars away. But size up when you buy. My husband wears xxl shirts and I bought xxl jacket and he cant get the buckles buckled. So Im trotting back to Kohls to return it and I’ve ordered the xxxl. Might also help to say hubby is 5’11 and 255 lbs. happy boating! Stay safe!
