As with any portable electric two burner, or any electric stove, you gotta get used to it before you stop burning food. It just comes with the territory. Coming from using a propane stove my whole life, once I mastered this little cooktop, I was really happy with it. I've been working on a remote island and living in a small studio the past year, using this cooktop for almost everything I eat. It still looks in decent condition, whereas other brands would look like trash by now. I'm heading back home soon, and I'm sad to leave it behind. We had great times together. I recommend it to anyone. It may cost a little more than other cooktops, but it's really easy to clean, it gets hot really fast, and both sides are equally strong, which isn't always the case with these cooktops. Great value for your money, and makes your life a lot easier.

I’ve been using this Ovente double burner since December 2022 after trying out two other brands, and this is hands down the best one yet. It heats up fast, cooks evenly, and is perfect for my small space, it’s been a real lifesaver. Cleaning it is super easy, which I really appreciate. Over time, it may lose a bit of its functionality (one of my burners now stays on even after I turn it off, so I just make sure to unplug it after every use). Not a big deal for me, but something to note. Also, use small-medium sized pots or pans for even cooking. All in all, it’s reliable, simple to use, and worth every penny. I’d recommend it to anyone who needs an extra cooking surface or lives in a small apartment. Great investment, highly recommend!

Best burner ever. So easy to use. Lightweight and durable. This is my second one I purchased.I had my 1st one for 2 years . It still works I just got it silver my other one was black. Definitely worth the money.

I love my induction plates. I decided to try this unit since my regular stove has the infared burners. Will it boil water? Yes if you've got time to wait. I can use most any cookware I have. I was pleased with the burner size. My drawbacks; takes way too long to warm up. Will not reach a deep fry temp at all. Even eggs take too long to cook. I will keep it in case I need extra burners on holidays, or if my stove quits. Otherwise will buy an new induction top before my old one quits.

I tried a couple other brands/styles that were ridiculously slow to heat up. Took 20 + min to get a low boil. This guy here boils water fast! Under 10 min. I. use this in my RV to avoid the heat producing gas stove in the summertime and to have a 2nd option for cooking if propane runs out etc. Having 2 heat elements is perfect! The heat dials work great and can control the heat levels well. I have to turn it down after boiling temp to keep it from boiling over and can maintain boil at lower dial level. Heat distribution seems very good. I have used a cast iron enameled braiser and cooked evenly. I have not tried a stainless steel pan yet but cast iron does a good job at heat distribution regardless. It is also very light weight so easy to move around. Easy to store in small RV camper kitchen. Very happy with this purchase!

This is a wonderful counter top cooker. Mine was seconds and it looked new and cleans up in 2 seconds. Wipe and go that easy. This is great I love mine. Thanks.

I read the reviews but not well enough. the 5 temp settings I did not understand. the highest temp is 212. I tried both plates and the 4 setting did boil water. I thought it had a three prong plug but is is a cheap cord with only 2 prongs and not a ground . I am going to keep it because I tend to over heat and cook at a higher tem. I am tired of trying to find induction cookware which is over priced. I also want to use a glass vacuum coffee maker which will work on this counter stove. I think a little overpriced but now I can use all my cookware. takes about 3 to 5 minutes to boil water depending to the amount of water in pan. I will give it a plus when using coated non stick pans. Higher heat tends to burn the coating and easily burns. Hope this will be helpful to you.

Es una muy buena parrilla, si es algo resbaladiza pero pues basta con tener un poco de cuidado al poner la sartén! Se calienta rápido, es práctica, es fácil de limpiar a menos que se te caiga y queme leche): Tiene un cordón amplio para la conexión, eso siempre es muy bueno. Es muy linda y definitivamente la recomiendo mucho, vale cada peso!

Me gusta que pueda graduar el calentamiento cosa que en otras no se puede y salió a muy buen precio y de mejor calidad que cualquier otra.
