Reebok Unisex-Adult Nano X1 Cross Trainer

Bottom line: These are great shoes that have handled hard HIIT workouts 3-5 times a week for the last three months without issue. They fit great, dry quickly, and accept my orthotic inserts without issue. I highly recommend them.I bought these shoes to replace a pair of well-worn and well-loved cross trainers. Special considerations for me were that the shoes I chose had to have enough space for my orthotic inserts and still provide good support. I was lucky to have a friend loan me their pair for a day or two before I purchased. The only complaint I have is that, especially with the addition of my orthotic inserts, the heels are a little too high for me to use these shoes specifically for lifting. That's not a design flaw, though, it's a factor of my special considerations.

I tried 4 different brands of cross-trainers and the Reebok Nano X1 is far superior in comfort and fit than their competitors. They're great for cross-fit because you get the heel support you need for lifting and they are flexible enough for running or jumping rope.

This review is for the grit model which is a more durable upper fabric construction than regular nano X1’s but just as comfortable and breathable. I have wide feet so I sized up half size and these fit snug like a comfortable sock but with perfect support and stability for me. The grit weave on the uppers is breathable but secure so the tightness isn’t an issue but I think on more normal feet there will be room in the toes for splay when lifting or vigorous movement. They hardly needed any break in to fit just right (accept for the aggressive heel lock (but that is very useful for burpees and push-ups to keep the shoe from potentially slipping off, just wear socks that cover your heals over and you will be fine). I get great stability support, balance, and cushioning for doing BeachBody P90x, P90x3, Insanity, T25, and Body Beast workouts. I definitely recommend this model for those types of workouts over the nano X9 or X models. As the previous models are more suited for heavier lifting, not so much for jumping around or quicker movements. This shoe is snug but still gives my toes good room. I would say that for wider feet the shoes are good but if they were any less wide I would be falling over, it’s right at the cusp of being too small. The previous models were a little bit wider which was nice but for me, they are doing what I need them to do. They are great for HIIT type workouts but I still prefer the Nano 9’s for heavier lifting activities as the sole seems more conducive for that.Pros: comfortable for wider feet, good toe room, sole is stable and has good cushioning for a trainer.Good for plyometrics, agility, burpees, lighter weight lifting, lunges, and stability workouts. It’s more universal for all different types of exercises over the previous CrossFit endorsed models of the X9’s and X’s due to the soles having a little more spring in them.Cons: heel lock is going to cause blisters unless you wear longer socks until they break in, tongue is very thin, laces are longer than needed without a real place to store them besides shoving them down the sides of the shoes. Not for heavy heavy leg day in the gym as the soles are a bit squishy under heavy weights (only noticeable if you had the previous models). I’m sure it will be fine for most but I still use the nano 9’s for leg day PR’s or heavier weights. Also, these shoes aren’t true running shoes, only for shorter distances. They are 100% better than the X9’s and X’s which are hard to run in longer than a couple hundred yards but that’s not really what they were meant for. This is due to the shoe style trying to fit in all workout types but with lifting the sole is less springy and more solid for stability.All in all, I recommend these for people looking for a universal exercise trainer shoe. It is really hard to find wider trainer shoes for exercise currently so if you’re like me and searching, these are worth a try.

These have been okay. The comfort level is decent once they are broken in but have had two issues with them. First, when doing exercises like chin ups on a smith machine, the shoes tend to want to slip on the ground. Secondly, on one of the shoes, the fabric where the laces are strung has come apart. The shoes look nice and really the lace issue is the main disappointment.

These are so different from the previous versions, which were all successful. There's a tab coming off the back of the shoe making your foot hit the ground in a weird way. They're just terrible in the gym and they don't look as good as any of the previous ones. Disappointing.

Esperaba un modelo en color negro....como el de la imagen, pero me llego una tonalidad azul marino, que en mi opinión se ven mucho mejor que la imagen de la foto, en relación a la ergonomía, son super cómodos, ligeros y a la vez tiene excelente forma y rigidez que permiten moverse con total libertad, los recomiendo ampliamente.

Muy feliz con mi compra, llegaron a tiempo un poco maltratado el empaque pero el calzado en Buenas condiciones, son cómodos, resistentes (aunque con algunos rope climb comenzaron a romperse de la suela) en general muy buenos dan estabilidad, son livianos y frescos

The shoes fit true to size, are comfortable and look nice on. HOWEVER I went out of my way to find these in my size online and in store because I loved the color and design of this shoe. Particularly the speckles on the heel area, and around the lace holes. As a previous review also states. They do not have any rubber material around the shoelace openings at all, thus they don't look as high quality either. If they didn't have the colored speckles, just don't post that they do. I want to know a true reflection of what I'm buying.

Excelentes zapatos deportivos para la práctica de CrossFit, se amoldan al pie y la suela tiene la firmeza y suavidad que se requiere, mucho muy recomendables.
