I’ve tried a few carpet cleaning solutions before, and this one really surprised me. It does a great job lifting dirt and stains, and the Febreze scent leaves everything smelling fresh without being too strong. It also works well in a full-size machine and a little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts longer than I expected. This stuff works amazingly well. I've used many other Bissell shampoos and this one is by far the best. It got every stain out of my carpet - wine, grease, oil, pet messes, even olive oil. The best part is that there is no nasty soapy film left in the carpet. It just feels new and clean. The scent is pleasant but not overpowering or cloying. It's not the least expensive product out there, but definitely worth the money. The bottle size is good. Just the right size to hold a good supply of shampoo without being so large it's hard to handle. The cap is also a handy measuring cup, with line inside to make one gallon of solution. It's an easier way to measure than looking at the line on the cleaning solution container.
