I recently received a new fancy dartboard (Gran Board 3s). This dartboard does not have a scoreboard built into it like most other dartboards. Instead, you must use a phone or tablet with a downloaded app that is then connected to the board via Bluetooth to be able to play. The tablet is also connected to wi-fi, which then allows the user to play with other people who have the same board and app remotely from other locations (Yes, even the other side of the world).With that being said, I needed something to hold my tablet near the dartboard (but not too close) so I could use the camera and app for playing darts with people remotely around the world. I found this tablet holder on Amazon and based on the reviews, felt it was the right choice for me and my needs. I needed a tablet holder that was strong, in case my kids tried to monkey around with it, or some drunken dart player touched it, too, and put a bit of weight or pressure on it. While I do not believe this tablet holder would stay on the wall if someone started to fall and tried to use it to keep from hitting the ground, I do think it is very secure otherwise. Also, as you can see in the pictures, my dartboard is mounted in the Man Cave (garage) and nearly everything in there is black. So, I am glad that the tablet holder was also black, too.What I like about this product:1. Instructions made it easy to mount to the wall2. Lock will keep my tablet fairly safe, even if I forget to close the garage door3. Goes well with the rest of my Man Cave4. Feels very solid and sturdy mounted to the wallWhat I did not like about this product:1. A little on the expensive side compared to other products currently available ($50 would have seemed to be the right price to me, vice the $69.99 I paid for it)2. Arm is a little stiff to move but may loosen over time with use3. No choice for other colors (for those that do not want black)I give this product 4/5 stars. I deducted 1 star because I feel that the price is a bit steep for what it is. Nonetheless, I’m still pretty happy with my purchase and if you can handle the price, I do recommend it.

I bought this to mount a Surface Pro tablet in my kitchen. The price was fantastic and the reviews seemed to be great. I noticed some people said that the lock key was weak, the mount “hands” that actually hold the tablet cancels out the use of touch screen, and that the screws strip easily. I would say they may have gotten faulty models because I didn’t experience any of those. It’s locked into place tightly, the touch screen still works perfectly, and I actually had a few issues with my wall that caused me to put the screws in and out 3 different times. The screws held up great. This mount is amazing, especially for the price. Highly recommend.

The mounts themselves work well. They are strong, stable, and mount easily to the wall. Each joint can be adjusted to stiffen or loosen the motion of the articulating arms and tablet angle. They can mount various tablet sizes and hold them firmly. The biggest shortcoming is the lock, particularly the key. We mounted 3 of these in our office but had difficulty with the locks from the very beginning. A key got stuck in one after locking, and another of our mounts would not unlock at all. We were finally able to do so after a considerable amount of time, effort, and sweat. They keys appear to be a very soft metal, so they keys are already stripped down and are becoming increasingly difficult to use after only 4 days of regular use. I'm afraid that a key will break or fragment inside of the lock, which would be a life sentence for our poor innocent tablet. If you intend to lock it and only very rarely unlock, these mounts are wonderful. However, if you're planning to remove the tablet regularly (e.g. once a day, as we do), I recommend finding a solution with better keys.

The bracket itself is very versatile and fits an Insignia 10" tablet very securely. The keys, as most have reviewed, worked very well for me. I locked and unlocked the mount several times without issue.The major issue with this is the screws that come with the mount. They are very poor quality screws and strip VERY easily. I would suggest using other screws than the ones this comes with.
