Decent locking pliers, solid construction

Don't get the cheapies, this is a great bit of kit. Jaws line up perfectly and will grip the smallest of items well. My first test was to remove a broken off staple leg from a wooden floor, id say 1mm was showing above the wood, grabbed and removed it no bother with these. Essential tool kit item.

Arrived in bad shape. One of the handles was significantly out of alignment and the rivets holding the locking jaw mechanism very loose and badly fitted.Given the gauge of the metal involved - and the fact that the item was well packed - it most likely happened during manufacturing. So deeply disappointed by quality control.Sent back for a refund. The search continues.
