I just received mine--love it, its perfect. I was just wondering what the screws were for. I didn't find any use for them. Does anyone know?

Can this be used without matting

Use and Display: Perfect for four 4x6 inch pictures with mat or one 8x20 inch panorama picture without mat; the actual mat openings are 3.5x5.5 inches. That information is in the text description of the product.

Are the openings true 4x6? I keep buying frames advertised as 4x6 but the openings are actually half an inch too small.

They fit my 4x6 pictures great.
