All new shoes take a few wears to adjust to foot. But this means our feet are taking the beating. With this product, I just leave them in my shoes for a day or two and they are comfortable as ever. I recommend having a pair at home. Works well with flats as well as heels.

So far so good. It came in a nice box. Very easy to understand and use. I’ll check in a week’s time to see how the shoes turn out. I’m happy with the wooden material and the mechanism feels sturdy. The tips are plastic.Edited: I came back 24 hours later to make it a 5 star. One of Birkenstocks was able to get stretched longer for my second toe that was hitting the shoe causing a callous and pain on my foot. My right foot is longer than the other. I couldn’t return these expensive shoes and need to wear orthotics now. The shoe cobbler in town said he couldn’t stretch them lenthwise. and the chiropodist said it would cost about $800 to buy orthotic insoles from him. This shoe stretcher has saved me hundreds of dollars and made me very happy in salvaging my shoes that I’ve put away for months! I can’t wait to stretch two more pairs of Birkenstocks costing me over $500! I don’t need to buy orthotics anymore.Thank you so much.

Crack easily

I bought a spray to put on the shoes before stretching but this proved ineffective. The trick is to soak the front half of the shoe in water then do the stretching. Stretch the shoes in stages to check the fit, each time overnight. My wife now is wearing 'never worn' shoes and my beloved Church's now fit my spreading feet.The cost of the stretchers worth every penny as now using shoes that had become unwearable.

I am so happy I bought these shoes stretchers. I have used them on two shoes now and both times I’ve been thrilled with the results. The first use, I stretched the toe box of a formal wear shoe. It was so much more comfortable for me after doing that. The second use, I stretched just the pinky toe side of a pair of strappy sandals, using one of the black knob inserts to stretch just that part. Again, the shoes were so much more comfortable for me now. I stretched the shoes slowly over a period of days, increasing the stretch bit by bit, to make sure I didn’t strain the leather too much. I see no damage to either pair. I bought these shoe stretchers months ago and came back on here to review it just now…that should tell you how highly I rate them.
