Nice paper quality

This is a pad with relatively heavy paper. It takes on multiple media well, especially if you want to mix watercolour with coloured pencil. It's got weight to handle the watercolour and the tooth for the coloured pencil. Ofcourse it's always a compromise when going for multiple media on one paper.

Good quality

The papers are smooth texture, little thin, the pigments stays well for watercolor, you can also do negative painting but if you use masking fluid it's quite tricky while removing it, because it might cause tearing of paper!

For a long time I was eyeing the prices to buy this sketchbook. It works great for alcohol based and water based color pens. They have provided a thick sheet that can be kept beneath the paper before colouring so that the ink does not feather on other pages. The pages are of good quality. Over all the book is quite sturdy yet compact. A must buy.

Packet was nicely packed and came with a text manual which gets you friendly with transparent protective layer that comes with this book. For 200 gsm, I felt it almost reached the 200 gsm mark. Maybe it's 180, but that's just my own personal opinion based on other craft supplies I've used. about it being a mixed media paper - Well, it did took the water well, with as much warp as I've seen with a watercolour speciality paper. No complaints there. it is indeed a good mixed media paper and can take some brutal spraying of water, so I'll say go for it. I got this for Rs 460

I'm VERY impressed! I have recently been itching to get back into art, and wanted a quality sketchbook that didn't break the bank. This was a very good choice! I'm extremely impressed with the quality of the paper, weight and thickness (all details outlined in the ad). But also the paper is slightly textured, which is nice for pencil and watercolor art, but it is not overly bumpy/grooved as some paper is. I like to use pens, so I appreciate this moderate texture. The sketchbook came with a plastic sheet to protect the next page as you are working on your art. I love this! It is soft and has friction, so it wouldn't easily slide out as you adjust the angle of the sketchbook while working. I haven't tested the perforation yet, but it looks well done, I don't anticipate tearing. This is an amazing sketchbook, and I highly recommend it! As someone who used to frequent art stores for supplies, trust me when I say that this sketchbook goes toe to toe with the best products in specialty stores, and for a more competitive price. I generally prefer 300 gsm weight (which is better for watercolours although some 200 gsm paper pads are pretty good too). However, this paper is great for graphite pencils, ink washes, watercolour pencils and light watercolour painting. There is a very slight texture to the paper. The paper is a brilliant white so the marker colours look especially bright and outstanding on it but this paper absorbs a lot more of the marker than the Ohuhu Marker Pads (which will shorten the life of my markers). In my opinion, compared to the Ohuhu marker pads, this mixed media pad produces more brilliant marker pictures. Overall, I still think that this is a really good buy!

Ainda não usei, mas chegou bem rápido e sem nenhum defeito. Vem com uma folha de EVA inclusa para colocar embaixo da folha em que você está desenhando, para evitar manchar as demais. Atualização: Acabei de usar e gostei muito, tentei primeiro marcadores, mas quero tentar tintas também, como guache, aquarela e acrílica, já que o papel diz suportar trabalhos secos e molhados. Para os marcadores eu usei o papel de EVA que vem incluso, para evitar que manche as outras folhas e pretendo usá-lo também quando for pintar com tinta, pra evitar que se der algum problema, molhe as outras folhas. Mas enfim, espero que suporte as tintas também.
