Bella Terra Oils - Emu Oil 4 oz - Genuine Pure Australian Emu, Infused with Linoleic & Oleic Acid, Perfect Companion for Lustrous Skin

I've been using emu oil since the early to mid 1990's as a great source for healing scars and softening skin. The Bella Terra Oil's Emu Oil is the best brand I have ever used. Because of the info brochure that came with my first emu oil from a local emu farmer, I had learned that it treats chicken pox. During that time, my 6-year-old son came down with chicken pox. At first, with only 3-5 welts on him, I thought he had mosquito bites, but when he woke up, I counted 50 more welts. That's when I knew he had the chicken pox. I coated his face, neck, arms, chest and back with emu oil immediately. The Emu oil literally stopped the pox from producing any more. The new ones from over night healed within 3 days and were no longer visible. Only 3 of the original pox had time to go deep enough to leave a scar. Because of Emu oil, even those scars are permanently gone now. Looking at my son, you would never know he had ever had the chicken pox. A few years later, I came down with hives. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with hives. He told that hives are latent chicken pox that had attached to a nerve when I was a child. I was put on a prescription medication to treat the hives. The prescription medication didn't work at all. The hives were growing deep through the layers of skin. Then I remembered Emu oil heals chicken pox. I quit the medication, bought fresh Emu oil and SNAP -- the hives stopped and my skin began to heal. I only had two very deep hive scars with no skin pigment left. Only emu oil has been able to heal them. Over these 20+ years, I have tried 4 different brands of Emu Oil. As I am already using several Bella Terra Oils, I decided to purchase this 16 bottle of Emu Oil from Bella Terra Oils about 4 weeks ago. As it was time to make my new batch of moisturizer/healing lotion a few days ago, I used the Bella Terra Emu Oil instead of finishing the other brand. Wow, what a difference! My naturally dry skin is staying moist much longer, and some old scars are healing. My skin feels so much smoother now, too. I am very happy I choose to give Bella Terra Emu Oil a try. It's proven to be quite beneficial and is out ranking the other brands of Emu oil I've tried. I'm staying with Bella Terra Oil's Emu Oil. It also mixes well with my other oils in the homemade skin moisturizing/healing recipe that I designed. There is a notable difference in the texture of my skin since switching to the Bella Terra Emu oil. Please note this WARNING regarding any and all Emu oils: Because Emu Oil absorbs all the way through each layer of our skin, it is NEVER to be used where you have exposed yourself to spider bites, other bug bites or stings, poison oak, poison ivy, poison sumac, or any other topical skin poison or allergic reaction. See a doctor regarding bug bites or stings. For the treatment of poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac: Step #1: make a 1:1 mixture of equal parts white vinegar, salt, and baking soda. Apply with a fresh cotton balls. Do not dip used cotton ball back into mixture. This recipe works very rapidly and stops the poison and rash from spreading. Do this twice daily until the rashes are healed. Step #2: Do NOT wash clothing exposed to the poisonous plants with the rest of your laundry as that will spread the poison amongst your clothing. Wash the exposed items separately and put plenty of white vinegar in the wash cycle. Also dry separately.

This product is wonderful and does not clog the pores! I like adding 2 drops of essential oil to a teaspoon of Emu oil for the face & neck. I believe that it is very penetrating plus very good for sensitive skin even with rosacea.

The product is nicely packaged, with an eye dropper internally. The oil is organic, refined, ethically sourced emu oil. Instructions indicate to use it within 2 years of opening. I does have a somewhat 'oily' emulsified texture like a thicker coconut oil; it absorbs into the skin with a small amount of residue. I'm still getting used to it. The packaging notes you can mix it with your body/face moisturizers. Great for skin care. Cheers.

I’ve been ordering this brand when it’s been in stock for about 5 years. It’s always been good quality and works well. My last order arrived and was rancid. I contacted the company, and they sent me a fresh bottle. Not only is the product good, but they also stand behind them. Will keep ordering. 10/11/25. Just an update. I ordered this product in an 8 ounce size a few days ago, and this one is rancid too. Twice in a row now. I’m wondering if it’s Amazon at this point. I may try to order from the website again. Before these two bottles I never had this issue.

I have pemphigus vulgaris, an incurable auto immune disease, which causes my skin to break out in blisters, they itch until they make me crazy. I have tried steroid creams and have a drawer full of it and other things that don't work. I read reviews on lots of emu oils and although this one is more expensive I decided to buy it. It works for me, smells fine and I like that it has a slight thickness which allows me to pour some in my Palm to use without it pouring out so fast that I waste it! I like the cap that opens when pressed instead of the screw off cap which allows a lot of waste when pouring into my palm. Although I look like a grease head I rub it into areas on my scalp which itch awful and this oil stops the itching for several days. Although in my younger days I had oily skin now that I am 79 my whole body is now a mess of flaking dry skin, especially on my arms. This emu oil has completely ended that. Of course I have to reapply it, it is not a one application magic elixir. I am a retired RN and am skeptical about people saying such and such cured them. I am not cured but this emu oil is certainly relieving itching discomfort in every area where I apply it and some of these areas I will not mention but you get the drift I am sure. Incidentally this is not the first emu oil I have used but it is the best so far.

The cave exit: To be honest, I planned on retiring from posting reviews on Amazon because I felt like products usually get the reviews necessary to encourage reccomendation if they are good enough to purchase them. However, after the first use of this product, not enough praise has been posted towards it. The story: There has been constant praise about this oil. Especially about applying it topically to the skin. I struggle with skin moisturizers because I suffer from a skin condition known as eczema, which dries out the skin excessively and makes things very uncomfortable in my daily life. After extensive research on a natural remedy to help treat my itchy ailment, I stumbled across Emu Oil. I read countless things about it, watched videos and read reviews of people testifying that Emu oil has all the answers to my problem. So I searched Amazon and Bella Terra showed up as the most qualified for my Emu needs. The arrival: The package arrived quickly thanks to my membership on Amazon and came securely packed. The bottle, glass and brown. (Glass is the preferred container for these products as potency is prolonged when stored: so this is another good thing about this product. Also easier to recycle as compared to plastic). I got excited and opened the container. Rubbed a bit on my palm and swiped at my arms and legs where the rashes linger. Almost immediate reaction, the results were relieving. After a couple minutes, my skin was the softest I’ve encountered in a long time. It made me so excited that I actually rubbed it on my scalp. (Read during my research that it’s also great for the scalp and hair). I left the oil in my hair for about 3 hours before I decided to shower and shampoo it off. When I got out of the shower, my hair felt amazing. It is the softest I have ever felt my hair. I just walked to my phone and started typing. If you don’t believe me, purchase this yourself. Emu oil is the real deal but there are imposters out there trying to sale diluted products. This isn’t one of them and if it is, they’re making something worth paying for ;) I have no business with this company. I just felt like sharing my experience because I understand the pain of dealing with eczema and other skin conditions. If you suffer from skin conditions or even hair problems, give this a shot. You won’t regret it. (Look up the benefits if you’re still skeptical)

I have one of those skin and hair types that loves to be treated to high quality animal fats and plant oils. I will say that of all of the fats and oils I have used, this one is unique in how it seems to absorb into the skin, feeding it instantly, rather than forming a thick coating on the surface first. So for people who don't like to be greasy this is probably a better fat to apply than some others. I ordered the 1 gallon size and I am very pleased. The bottle was brimming and very securely sealed. The only way to improve upon this would be if the company actually labeled the bottle with the date it was rendered/bottled, since that is the true date from which the expiration time starts ticking, not when you open it.

Definitely my new brand of choice. Thunderridge use to be my brand, but at a lower cost and same if not slightly better quality im sold. Great addition to my normal hair regiment. Being a natural 4c hair type its hard to find what works and this definitely does. Great on my skin too. Will definitely recommend and buy again. Update 3/12/19 Ive had a few bottles, and im going back to Thunderidge brand. Its a little more expensive but I like the consistency better. This brand is too thin and seemingly watered down or something. Absorbency is not the best. The 1st bottle was better. Idk 😐 Not sold on this, i’ll pay the extra for what I feel is better quality. Took away 2 stars.

An excellent product! Better than any other emu oil. It’s pure! I spent hundreds already on oils and moisturizers for eczema and this is the only one that works for my five year old! I bought the smaller one and bought this big bottle the second time. Worth every penny.

I love this product. My skin loves this product. It's fast absorbing, no residue. My mother has been using it for a year on her entire self (hair, skin) and it shows. Wow. The furkids love it too. They see the bottle and go silly wanting a little. Their coats are phenomenal too.

An amazing product. It is good for many things. The same kind of product is a lot more expensive.
