This was perfect for my niece's new baby's nursery. I wanted her to have something beautiful and amazing to look at once her eyes got focused. Her mommy had stick-on stars in her bedroom when she was little too - passing down the tradition. There's only one word for this little gadget - neat! You can make it stay still or let it rotate, you can have a sky full of stars, just the moon or moon and stars. It also has approx. six colors that will automatically change or you can pick just one color. The only bummer was that I found one about a month later that played lullabies and had a remote control. I loved it so much I may ask for one for my birthday or Christmas!

This thing cracks me up! First, full disclosure - I am a 48 year old single woman, no children (and no, I don't collect cats .... yet). I bought this purely for fun and entertainment for myself, I can't speak for how beneficial this might be for a nursery or a child's room.This thing seems to have an endless array of choices regarding what combination of colors and/or white lights are used and you can have it slowly rotate or stay still. It's quiet and small. I am very pleased for the little amount of money it costs - I already feel like I've gotten my money's worth out of it. I cannot speak for how enduring or durable it is but I think it's a really cute little night light.There are similar, more expensive models that include timers, the ability to produce sounds - but if you're just looking for a cute little entertaining night light, this is all you need.

I had a really hard time finding a good nightlight for my 3 year old. Tried the Twilight Turtle first, but she kept waking up and crying when it would turn off and there was no feature to keep it on all night. This is a great solution for all night light that doesn't cast weird ("scary") shadows like regular night lights do. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the top is flimsy plastic which I can see getting damaged at some point, but so far so good and my daughter is actually sleeping through the night!!!

I ordered this light for 5 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it. However, after the first night with it, the A button no longer turns it off. We have to unplug it every time. Not that big of a deal, just a little annoying. If it played music or had white noise, it'd be perfect. I should have researched longer and got a light that did have noise or music but my daughter is happy with it.

This projector is both beautiful and soothing, with a variety of settings to change and mix colors and even create a twinkling effect. My toddler loves it. My only complaint is it only comes with a USB cord. You have to provide your own plug from an iPhone or similar. Annoying if you need to charge your phone when your child wants to use it. Pretty cheesy/cheap of the manufacturer. Sure, I can buy another brick pretty inexpensively, but I shouldn't have to. Still, I'm really happy with the device overall.

My newborn loves it- great distraction at bedtime! It's not perfect, but for the price it's great. Things that would make it better:-needs a timed auto shutoff-needs a clear on/off switch... process to turn off is annoyingNote that in a normal sized bedroom the stars won't be entirely clear on the ceiling and most walls, but a young child will still enjoy all the lights / colors

This light show is great for my 3 year old. I purchased because she seemed a little afraid of the dark. When I turn this on she is able to sleep better. 4 stars because 1. it doesn't come with the block to plug into the wall. And 2. The light show is not as clear as I would expect but still really cool.

This star projector is AMAZING! Beautiful color, love the rotating feature and it projects nicely onto the walls of my daughter's 12x12 bedroom (stars aren't perfectly sharp, but I'm fine with that). I love the plug in feature, but I failed to read that it's only a USB plug, not a wall plug. I used a USB to wall adapter and I'm good to go. It stays on all night (no timer - which is what I wanted). I guess my only gripe is that the cord isn't very long if you wanted to put it in the center of the room. Other than that, I have no complaints.
