Yes, peel and stick floor tile can be installed on ceramic tile. In addition, it can also be installed on marble floor, wooded floor and linoleum, but before installing, please make sure the floor is flat, dry, and clean.

Q: Should I use an additional adhesive to ensure it more sticky? Or is the adhesive on it will last?

As long as your floors are completely smooth and flat, no additional adhesives are necessary. Just peel and stick the tiles to a flat and dry surface is ok.

Q: 5 feet by 9.5 feet how many boxes will I need?

1 box covers 10 ft. If it was me I would get 5 boxes. If there are many places need to be trimmed in your room, you'd better buy one more.
