With adhesive and following directions, it could be used on almost anything. Be sure to test results before putting it on any important surface.

Q: I am rebinding a bible and want to know if this will stick to the goatskin leather where i am stamping, "holy bible" on the front cover?

You will need an gold size or gilding size for the gold leaf to stick to the leather. Speedball makes one, as do several other reputable companies (Old World, Charbonnel, etc).

Q: Can this be used on metal jewelry?

Hello, thank you for your question. We have not tested this application as our accompanying Mona Lisa Adhesives are made for applications on porous surfaces. It may be possible to use with adhesives made for jewelry. However, the leaf is very delicate and could flake off from normal wear on the jewelry.
