Are they marked made in England?

Yes they are marked “Made in England.”

It says weight is 14,4 oz but it must be more. I need to send it out of country. Someone knows what is the total wight of the box?

I don’t know the total weight of the box but I can tell you that the dishes are very heavy.

Are these lead and cadmium free?

You should go on the website and read the description about lead in ceramic ware. It doesn't say anything about Cadmium however. I have been using them for years. They are beautiful and I wouldn't replace them with anything else.

Does it say made in england on the bottom of the bowl? it is difficult to write in china.

Some Portmeirion has been outsourced to China. But the set I bought, shown here, definitely say "Made in England. I love mine!
