Just what I wanted.

Works great.

I keep eyeballing electric grinders, but the ones commonly on the market just have too many issues - poor construction, plastic gears that wear out quickly, difficulty filling, low capacity, etc.So when a lightning deal came up for these manual grinders, I got them. I've only used them with peppercorns; I don't see the point of grinding salt, salt doesn't taste any different freshly ground. So I can only comment on their performance with pepper.Pros:- Large, larger than expected. Not exactly but similar size of a can of soda, a little smaller in diameter. This gives them a high capacity, easy to fill opening, and decent grip without being too big.- Adjustable ceramic grinder. I've never seen a manual grinder that is 100% consistent in grind size but these do pretty well. And they handle peppercorns easily, no issues with jams or snags.- Secure lid. It fits securely enough that it won't come off by accident, yet it is easy and simple to put on and take off. Just right.Cons:- The steel is pretty thin. This is not an issue with a majority of the housing, since the steel is covering a hard plastic interior, providing strength. But the threaded collar that screws onto the glass base is just the thin metal. While grinding, this is not a problem, but when you have it open for refilling, I believe it wouldn't be too difficult to accidentally bend that collar out of whack. Time will tell.

Really nice hand feel. Most mills I've found are cumbersome, these are not only attractive they grind almost effortlessly. Also you can change the grind size, which of course causes a bit of contention in our home, my husband likes it micro size and I prefer a heftier grind. Thanks for an honest product

These are not made very well. For the price I should have just spent a little more to get well built ones. I am using them, just not happy with their performance.

I love these! They are comfortable in your hand, easy to use, easy to fill, and can grind very, very finely (if that's what you want). I would definitely recommend these to anyone.
