I wear either a womens 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe so what size should I get?

I wear a 6 to 6 1/2 and ordered a 6 1/2 and it was perfect. Before I got this product the boot for the other foot was throwing my spine and hip out of joint. Once I got this product it was easy to walk balanced.

Has anyone had any experience waering it into a pool attached to a water shoe? I would like to exercise in my pool and this would really help.

They recommend attaching leveler to a gym-type shoe.

What size should I get for women's shoe size 9-9.5? Chart shows medium but this is equivalent to 7.5-8 in men, and chart shows that would be a small.

I just reviewed the product description for a size medium before answering your question; and it clearly states that it would fit a woman’s 9-11. I wear a size 9.5-10 shoe, and the medium is perfect! I have been grateful to find this product as it has made all the difference in the world for being able to steadily walk (& balanced!) while wearing my boot during my tendon’s healing!
