Q: Does the packaging show the contents? Would someone opening it understand what they're receiving?

No, I was really disappointed - it came in small plastic envelope and when I opened it - it was in a clear see through package the size of the bun and had a small cardboard ring around it to help keep the shape with no other pacakaging. Also it said it had a clip but none was to be seen. I was made to think it would be in a box with instructions. I bought it for a friend as a joke, so I am not too worried as I can explain, but definitely the packaging was a disappointment. I hope that helps.
