This is the second one I have bought. The original is still going strong after many years, but I had a voucher to use so I bought this newer model. I have given my original one to my son. It’s light, efficient, very manoeuverable and the foot is slim making it accessible for reaching under furniture.The brush attachment is excellent for upholstery. Suitable for both carpet and hard surfaces. I would recommend for these qualities, durability and value for money.

I’ve liked the hoover brand for many years as it’s always been reliable and I wasn’t disappointed with this vacuum cleaner. It is very modern and sleek looking and super lightweight which is always a bonus especially for hoovering stairs. It’s very quiet compared to some of my other vacuums which is a great. It feels very good quality and is easy to manoeuvre with the steerable base. The suction is very powerful so ideal if you have pets. It has a super long power cord so perfect for larger rooms and stairs. My only criticism would be that you have to unclip the handle to attach to the hose however it’s not difficult nor does it take long to do. Overall I am extremely impressed with this vacuum cleaner and would highly recommend!

I wanted a lighter vacuum cleaner. This wasn't as lightweight as I thought it would be but it's ok. It's easy to use. I find the cable long enough. I'm used to a cylinder vacuum so find using the nozzle accessories more of a faff. It is really easy to empty the bin and there aren't any bags to buy. For the price it's an excellent vacuum and I'm very pleased with it. 4 stars because the accessories are a bit awkward to use.Update - after 18 months disappointed that the switch operating the brush bar no longer works. It is not due to the fan belt which is still fine. Vacuum still works but brush only turns as you push the hoover.

We recently moved in a new place and I was looking for a perfect tool for my carpet and here I am using this perfect hoover and I can say after the first use that my carpet looks amazing and clean. I highly recommend for either a hard floor or a carpet (in my case) as it's very easy to use and also not heavy at allMind that if you have stairs be careful as your body might ache the next day 🤣& also for the it's at perfect price for what it does & is not loud either.

So light , compact and everything you need in a good hoover , very very powerful and pick dirt and dog hairs up so easy , great for my stairs too, I had pet Dyson hoover for years, this new hoover iv bought is so much more powerful than Dyson , love it

I HAVE NOW HAD 3 OF THESE VACUUMS, YES THEY ARE LIGHTWEIGHT, YES THE SUCTION IS EXCELLENT BUT ALL 3 HAVE NOW LIST THE TINY WHITE PLASTIC CLIP THAT ATTACHES THE HOSE TO THE MACHINE. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE ONCE THEY CLIP SNSIS OFF YOU CANNOT USE THE HOOVER BECAUSE THE FORCE OFF THE VACUUM PUSHES THE HOSE BACK OUT SO IN ORDER TO USE IT I HAVE WRAPPED ELECTRICIAN TAPE AROUND IT TO KEEP IT ATTACHED BUT OFF COURSE THAT MEANS I CANNOT USE THE ATTACHMENTS!! ITS SO SAD BECAUSE THIS IS A BRILLIANT VACUUM. easy to assemble and I have the attention span of a fruit fly so this is perfect! Quiet, it purrs. Powerful, amazing suction, easy to use attachments and so light, I totally love this bit of kit and would not hesitate to buy another one! 5 MONTHS ON AND I AM DISAPPOINTED IN THIS VACUUM. THE SUCTION HOSE ATTACHES ITSELF TO THE CLEANING HEAD WITH A VERY FLIMSY CLIP, THE ABOVE PHOTO IS OF THE TINY BIT OF PLASTIC WHICH HAS BROKEN (IT WORKS INSIDE THE CLIP AS A TINY LEVER) AND NOW MEANS THAT THE HOOVER NO LONGER WORKS BECAUSE WITHOUT THE FLIMSY CLIP SECURING THE HOSE IN PLACE THE FORCE IF THE (EXCELLENT) SUCTION BLOWS THE HOSE OUT SO YOU CANNOT USE IT!! HOWEVER, I'VE MANAGED TO FIX IT WITH STRONG GLUE AND ELECTRICAL TAPE BUT THIS HAS TO BE A PERMANENT FIXTURE WHICH MEANS I CANNOT USE ANY OF THE TOOLS!!!! NOT HAPPY WITH HOOVER!!!

I’m going to be totally honest in my review so people don’t do what I did and buy this because the price was appealing. My Shark lift away gave up the ghost after 5 years of hardcore use & I wanted something to replace it quickly and to try and save money. I ordered this & it came next day but as soon as I took it out of the box I knew I’d made a mistake. You can tell it’s cheaply made just from looking at it. I have two Labrador retrievers and 5 children in the house so needed something that could cope with at least daily use. This couldn’t. The first use and the brush roller kept slowing down almost stopping, the slider controlling suction power shook itself around constantly causing it to go from high to low itself and the debris & hair stuck to the outside of the tubing due to static better than it vacuumed up! And using the tools was a nightmare. You have to take the hose from the very bottom of the hoover and add the handle to it if you want any length at all. This makes it really awkward to use. I really don’t see how they can claim this is for pets as, like I said, the roller power is terrible. I’m now returning it which goodness knows how long it will take me to get a refund & I’ve spent the extra on a new shark. My advice, spend the bit extra and get a decent vacuum cleaner that does the job well.
