This chef knife bag is exactly what I needed as a knife maker. It keeps all my knives nicely organized and well protected while in storage. The large capacity holds up to twenty knives plus the extra zippered compartment is great for their sheaths. I added a couple of silica gel packs inside just as an abundance of precaution against moisture. I have not had any issues at all, but it gives me extra peace of mind. The only small thing I would change is that the handle compartments could be a bit bigger. Some of my custom knives have larger pommels or thicker handles and they fit a little snug or not at all. That said, this bag is designed for chef knives, and all the standard kitchen knives I have tried slide in perfectly with plenty of room. Overall it is durable, well made, and keeps everything secure and neat. Highly recommend for any knife maker, chef, or serious home cook.

The capacity is great on this bag. I can put my knives, scabbard, gloves, apron, hair nets, box cutter and 16oz waters in it. It has three zippers on it. Has a over the shoulder sling or if u prefer a handle sturdy and easy to use.Its been holding its own since I bought it. Glad I bought it. Makes my travel to different stores to butcher meat at efficient. Recommended

Nice bag and quality, this is one of the least expensive options but the build quality is quite good. I can see myself using this thing for years, with plenty of room for new knives and other cooking utensils. The zippered pouches are a win as well, perfect for non knife equipment. Size of the bag filled is nice as well compared to roll pouches this will be nice to have at home as well as when camping.

Pros: The design doesnt attract attention. Looks like a normal bag so it wont grab anyones attention when your carrying it in public. The fabric feels sturdy reminiscent of the carhartt canvas bag. The sling is comfortable to use The bag handle has a velcro closing feature which make it more comfortable to hold. There is a lot of space for knives in the bag. More then enough for most cooks. The tool pouches allow you store a versatile set of tools. The sizes i find are perfect for everyday equipment. You can flip through the bag like a book for easy access. The knives are secure in there slots and fastened with a velcro strip. Cons: Zippers dont feel great. I can definitely see them failing at some point. The slots for the knives are very close together so you cant realistically use all of the slots without your knives bumping around. The tool pouches are made of a mesh with a bunch of tiny holes which makes throwing tweezers in there a bit of a pain because they can get caught on the mesh. Easily fixed by throwing tweezer in a ziploc and throwing it in there though. Overall: With a better zipper or entirely different securing mechanism this would be perfect. Not a huge fan of knife rolls so this is a great choice in the market. The value is great considering some of the other options out there. Do i recommend it? For professional chefs who work in busy kitchen all day? No. A knife roll is optimal for that environment. Having to fumble with zippers and pouches just isn't the thing you need during a rush. For home cooks, knife collectors, traveling cooks? Yes! This bag is pefect for storing knives if you just like collecting them. Great for home cooks who dont want there roomate messing with there expensive japanese knives or other tools. Its great to travel with for all the previous reasons stated. Hope this review helps! I hope there is a V.2 of this bag that uses better hardware someday.

Lots of compartment space, to place a rolled up apron, love mesh pockets in variable sizes to accommodate a variety of tools, corers, mini sharpener, large peeler, temp gauge, knife compartments from handle pockets to Velcro hold-downs securing blades in place, very efficiently made. Zippers well made, smooth functions, comfortable handles, and to top it off, an ID TAG for personalizing your gear. Getting a lot of comments from work crew. Wife is a Sous Chef at Fogo de Chao and she loves the bag plenty of room for her knives and kitchen gadgets.

This bag is crazy for the amazing amount of space it has. 4 fold out flaps with pouches galore but i prefer to keep my knives in their own seperate sheaths and because they have large custom rubber handles they dont fit in any knife pouch in any product ive seen on amazon but this bag has one side with all spacey zipper pouches. All five of my knives have large outdoor sheaths yet they all fit nicely in those zipper pouches. I got 2 sets of scissors my honing rod and a large terry cloth packed in the bag and I still havent used more than half the space. As long as this bag is durable and stands the test of time when handled with care and I will be one damn happy and grateful meat cutter.

I’m a pastry chef and I love these knife bags. It is bigger than most with lots of pockets for my specialty pastry tools (not just knives). This is actually my third tine buying this bag in about 2.5 years. They definitely wear out quicker than the more expensive competitors. The strap holds WILL break (no matter how light you make it) and the zippers WILL fail (no matter how little you stress them). That is the bottom line. These bags have only been lasting me about 8 to 9 months each. (The last brand I bought lasted my 3 years with no issues). But I keep coming back to these because of the functionality. It really has more room than most. Just know going into this purchase that there are not very well made and will have to be replaced far more often than others. But since they are relatively inexpensive, I keep buying them anyway.

The Bag is good but missing the 2 knife guard what is mentioned in the description, I’m a bit disappointed

Product meets expectations. Storage capacity is pretty high, but I wouldn’t recommend placing too many knives into each piece. The material is not bad at all, but it’s not very stiff, so I would recommend it more to beginners than experienced chefs with plenty of expensive tools.
