Q: Will this fit a 18 x 18 pillow?

yes, may even be too big, where you will need to cut off a portion of the top of it. I had to do that for one of my baskets.. cut 6" off the open part. THese are close to 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide.

Q: What is an "air free" solution? Can this be vacumn sealed?

These bags cannot be vacuum sealed.

Q: I have a 10" x 10" open box to wrap. Should I purchase a square or round basket bag, or are they all the same?

all the bags are flat, they do not have a round or square bottom. these 24"x30" bags can fit a round basket of up to a 13.5" and a square basket of up to 10" in both directions. hope this clarifies things.
