Gamelyn Games Tiny Epic Western: A Boomtown Board Game with A Poker Twist in The Wild West

I have a few of the Tiny Epic games (Galaxies, Zombies w/ mat) and this is quickly becoming my favorite. It’s quick and easy to learn and a lot of fun.It does take a pretty big footprint when playing, and there are one or two rules that can be ambiguous, but on the whole it’s a lot of fun.That being said, my wife doesn’t like it as much as galaxies, but does like it more than zombies. So take that for what it’s worth.

Not easy to learn compared to some of the other tiny epic series. I recommend watching a tutorial online, there are plenty on YouTube. Having said that, it’s a fun game and provides a lot of entertainment. Gamelyn is a solid game company.

I bought this for my husband. He has a handful of Tiny Epic games and he loves then. Tiny Epic Western is his favorite so far. He has almost no free time, but when he does, he turns to games (lately Tiny Epic games) to unwind. He doesn't always have someone available to play Tiny Epic games with him, so he often adapts and plays them by himself. He was full of happy comments and smiles and cheers while playing Tiny Epic Western!The setting of the game is fun. The types of characters is fun. The jobs they perform in an imaginary western town is fun.

My wife and I love Tiny Epic Galaxies and she loves westerns, so I bought this for her birthday. We have only played it once but really enjoyed it. It isn't so tiny once you get it out on the table. The gameplay was a lot of fun though.

This is an amazing game with simple rules. It doesn't take that long to learn, and it is super re-playable. I can see myself coming back to this game for years. It has become a household staple due to its blending of monopoly and poker. There's a little bit of luck and a little bit of skill, so go out and give it a try ASAP. I highly recommend it.

Confusing instruction manual and a lot of rules turned this game into a return. Tried to play it with my 22 & 18 year old and we were confused a lot of the time. Great theme though!

Welcome to the Wild West. In Tiny Epic Western you take on the role of one of the towns influencers. It is an Area Control, Dice Rolling and Worker Placement game from Gamelyn Games. It plays 2-4 players in around 45 minutes. I enjoyed the dynamic of the shoot out with the dice. The Player Mat offered separately is a great addition. If you like games that are based in the Wild West and you like games under an hour this is your pick!

These games are great at how they create the feeling of a large tabletop game board out of such a small box. The materials are of good quality, and even someone who's not a regular gamer was able to pick up the game and play it pretty well.
