So, I had to buy a new gas hot water tank. Although it was the same height and 40-gallon tank as the old one ... it was bigger around and heavier. The cubby is in my garage and around 2.5 feet off the floor. As strong as I am I couldn't lift the tank by myself and so I rigged this pulley to hoist it into position. Long story short, it was able to withstand the weight of the hot water heater. No problems at all and is a solid 5-starts.

Works great, I use the for hanging deer and they are smooth and durable.

Very nice hardware. Good, durable pulleys. Good value. Use for my dock lines and no sign of wear in a year of exposure.

The pulley is good for my application, and I'm only writing a review because I'm back here to buy more. For a home gym cable pull, it's hard to argue that you need more than this. Quality is above average in my case. Zero slop, zero squeaking, which is funny because I had my oil at the ready, but wound up not needing it. Smooth action to the point where I would say it's a pleasure to use and for all I know, if you buy an official cable pull system for your home gym, it may come with an inferior pulley to this. The hoop you use to anchor the pulley is generous and receives my somewhat chonky rock climbing carabiner with no issue. Having said that, there is no way in hell I would put my own bodyweight on this. Maybe 4 of them in parallel, but I still wouldn't trust it. I almost want to apologize for only giving it 4 stars, but the reasoning for that is that while these can technically come apart so that you can put them on an existing line, they use the bane of all engineering existence - the snap ring. If you don't have the proper tool to disassemble snap rings, you will probably hurt yourself fighting with this, and look like a frustrated ape trying to get into a coconut while you're at it. Just keep that in mind.

They work great. Even after a year exposed to the weather, they look like they did when I first bought them. Using mine for the pully to help raise up 100 pound deer feeder.

Replaced cable/wheels and now the pulleys and my total gym is like new again

These are the perfect size and work great. Hopefully I never have to open it up since I don't have the right tool to remove the clamp. Don't need to and don't think I will since they seem rock solid. I've had them for a month so time will tell. They do make a little squeak occasionally but it comes and goes and isn't an issue. The 2 work great for multiple exercises. I did get my cord caught in the side once doing an elaborate exercise but it hasn't happened again. Just so you know that there is room on the side for it to get caught if there's enough force to get it in.

Worked well and easy to use.
